His family had to witness it, horrible.

I would never conduct such a business in an unsecure area especially in that dump of an area. I'd do it near a police station (these days, even public parking lots don't necessarily seem safe).

Why would someone have that much cash for a sale? No one buys cash unless they are here illegally.. Still sucks. Hope they find the killers.

There are a lot of people who don’t use banks because they don’t declare income. I know people in contracting trades who do this.

It's been know for years one should always meet a seller or buyer in a public or neutral place. Even if he was going to check out a baseball card I'd be worried.especially if the seller says cash only.

It seems increasingly common for many to perceive violent crime is increasing. The actual incidences and rates do not however support this notion. That the internet, social media and the 24/7 news cycle makes us more aware of local incidents, here, there and everywhere is not the same thing as actual increases in crime.

In front of an elementary school in broad daylight (Noon). I was thinking it was in a back alley at midnight or something.

Sad. It's not safe meeting in public and in broad daylight anymore.

How much cash was it? I couldn't find that detail.

I know lot's of used cars sold by private parties want cash only becsue you can't trust anyone's check and meeting up at a bank, which is the best way to do it, is considered a bit of a hassle. Assuming you even keep money in the bank.

Bottom line, these criminals posted a stolen car for sale, cash only, for the sole purpose of robbing whoever showed up with $. The robbery was premeditated for sure, I can't say what prompeted the shooting except that lot's criminals have lizard brains.

This happens on a Regular basis.

Don't bring LARGE AMOUNTS of cash to a Transaction unless you are Armed and your associate is Armed.

PREFERABLY, do the transaction in a public place (banks, office supply store, post office, etc).

Those robbers knew some fool would show up with lots of Cash...
