Who does this?

Quote:
Police in Arizona have arrested a man after 183 animals, including dogs, cats and birds were found in his freezer.

Michael Patrick Turland, 43, of Arizona, admitted freezing some of the animals while they were still alive, the Mohave County Sheriff's office said.

He has been charged with 94 counts of animal cruelty.

Images from the scene "were absolutely disgusting and heart-breaking", said sheriff's spokeswoman Anita Mortensen.

"As an animal lover I was crying just looking at them," she told the BBC, adding that the photos were too graphic to release.

Apparently they’re still looking for the wife. She had to have known what was going on. I just can’t even begin to wrap my head around why someone would be motivated to do something like this. Incredibly sick and twisted.

It could be bipolar or some kind of mental illness, or a sick demented sexual gratification thing. We seriously need more mental institutions where they have their own room and a community TV lounge area during the day. There is no place to put these people. They go to jail only for a short period of time and get out and do the same thing all over again. Also taking them to the hospital for evaluation is of no use when they won't stay on medications and get released all over again. That's fine for people who were raised to know and do what is right when they know an episode is coming but not for people this far gone and people never once raised by parents who took the time, patience and love to help their child to grow into adults doing the right thing.

One spouse is not enough to keep them in good mental health, care. They just keep doing things like this over and over. We see it with animal hoarders.

I can't imagine what kind of woman who would marry a pre-vert like this. I'd be curious as to what she looks like.

I can’t imagine who would leave their dogs in the care of these people after meeting them. All they’d see from me would be a cloud of dust as my car took off at ninety miles an hour. Rural Arizona is the land of meth, and this loser sure looks like it.

I’m just glad they’re throwing the book at him. A lot of times animal abusers get off easy because animals don’t have a voice. I hope justice is served here.

Me too. I want justice for these innocent victims. I bet that wife is hidden somewhere. They need to search the grounds with cadaver dogs.

I've noticed that Arizona Man and Florida Man have a lot in common...
