A California mother has been charged over the death of her three-year-old daughter who last year died from asphyxiation after having an exorcism performed on her by her pastor grandfather at the family's tiny Pentecostal church in San Jose.
Arely Naomi Proctor died in September last year after her mother Claudia Hernandez, who goes by a different name on social media, and her pastor grandfather performed an exorcism, according to police.

If you investigate the background of the grandfather/pastor I bet he is unschooled, self-declared vs seminary trained, and totally committed to his beliefs…
That's a travesty if those men weren't charged with murder. What was he a "pastor" of, demonology?

The problem with demons is that they are frequently in the eyes of the beholder - a projection, if you will. I give you my word it was the case here. The 'demon' was in the adults killing a child in a sadistic manner.
All that religion crap is evil.... all of it. Pentecostals are a unique evil breed. These people bring snakes into the church... and provoked the poison snakes to bite them challenging God or the Devil (both one and the same) to kill them. A few famous preachers have died this way...Nut Bags!

Let's not even pretend that people can't be poisoned by religion. Consider what the "religious" did in Salam during the 1600's, all because they believe in witches, demons, devils and possession.
Yes, many of us believe and understand there's a spiritual battle taking place in our world, but sane heads must prevail. None of us should give free reign to those who believe a baby is possessed and in need of exorcizing.
But it cannot be both...there are either 'evil spiritual beings in high places' or there is not. If they exist, its logical to conclude that they are the source of all this. The bible even says they are the real source of these earthly problems...its not other human beings we struggle with, its spiritual evil in high places.

Someone even brought spiritual evil to church once:
Either this was a mistake that ended deadly or if the girl was possessed by a demon it probably went to possess the priest doing the exorcism in order to kill the girl.
I'm not Petecostal, but that religion wasn't created yesterday. If it wasn't a mistake or demon possessing the priest, then why we hardly hear of death from other Petecostal exorcisms?

I highly doubt this, unless that was the first exorcism the priest has ever done. It still puts in question the whole "mentally unstable" argument. It could had been simply a mistake.
Anyway, I highly doubt the priest hasn't done other exorcisms. Obviously, none of them ended with death.

Yes, that is the case sometimes, but have to remember, 'demons' ultimate goal is for people NOT to believe they exist!
Naturally a possession is not going look 'demonic'...its going to look like serious mental sickness/delusion.
It takes a very qualified person to determine which is which in these cases...
But if we are going to try and say these matters belong in a secular courtroom...keep in mind the basis for many of our secular laws! (laws against 'murder', 'stealing', 'lying', what book do courtrooms make people place hands on to take an oath?) See a trend yet?
