drunk or not...to intentionally kill your own 3 year old son, along with your 24 year old brother and trying to kill the boyfriend too calls for the death penalty..I hope she suffers in jail for a long time..
She had a DUI in March, and a previous assault charge.
As my brother in law would say, "that's a woman with issues". If she keeps this up, she will either be in prison forever or will be found dead in the Spring after the snow and ice melt, having frozen to death while drunk.
It's interesting people assume she was 'black out' drunk which quite honestly doesn't really match the scenario of what is shown to have happened (nor do any of the reports state what her alcohol level actually was at the time of the incident).
She turned her vehicle's lights off and then accelerated toward the victims. That's forethought, that's calculation. She may well have been intoxicated to some degree, but clearly not to a degree where she had no control over her actions. It sure looks to me like she very much on purpose wanted to kill one or all of the individuals she hit.

I don't think blackout drunk means what you think it means.
"Blackout" drunk means you don't remember what happened. It doesn't mean you are too drunk to function.
She could have done it on purpose for sure... but "Blackout" simply means she can't recollect the events. Of course some people become blackout drunks during the course of their legal action after something like this.
