Got a new Trek Allant 8s last week. Just had it out for my first ride. The controls are pretty intuitive.

This thing will open up new routes for me. I live in a very hilly area - my killer hill has an 18% grade, for example, so the power assist will be very handy. For us seniors, ebikes are the future. We're not 25 anymore...our knees aren't either.

Congrats! Yes, they are fun! Looked yours up, very nice. I like the red color. Fiance' & I are new e-bike owners as well since last month & we've been biking 2x a week ever since. We got the brand Motiv. We even signed up for an e-bike webinar, which should be informative.
