Yikes what a change! it is 37 out there this morning

lol I guess I will be putting on socks to go to breakfast

Not sure what todays plans will include as of yet well other than the game

There are a few more lights to add to what is now lovingly called "smurf house"
My neighbor told me "it is easy to give directions to our friends we tell them we are right next door to the blue lights"

I am trying to figure out how to get a picture I might have to ask our friends at breakfast which setting to use on the camera

What are you all up to today ?

Morning!
Chilly start here too. Frost was very crunchy under my feet when Cassy and I were out earlier. Oh well this almost December, time for it to begin.
Not sure if I am going to begin decorating today or just wait until tomorrow when I normally clean. I do have to get a new outdoor lighted wreath, mine died last year and I don't think I replaced it, but I guess I better look before purchasing a new one.
Had my laid back day yesterday and I think another one is due today, besides laundry and that can not wait. I have towels and sheets and blankets to wash from the kids, and we seem to have a bigger basket this week for some reason.
Still eating turkey and dressing, but I think tonight will be the last of it. I got a 23lb turkey and we ate most of it between Thursday and Friday (course my kids ate non-stop for 2 days)!
Best get motivated and see what today will bring, probably not my well intended trip to church.
Have a good one all.

Yikes I can not believe it is almost December where did this year go
I checked the 8 day forecast and it says 80 on Tuesday It may be the last hot weather hurrah because a cold front is coming through with "rain" (or so they say) so it will drop to highs around 60 the following few days

I know Karla, I keep asking myself that question too. Of course most of my year was spent praying for a good job for Bob and dealing with stress of less money to run the house.......
Bob was watching the Weather Channel this morning before work and there was a picture of a car covered in snow. The picture of said car was in KY! I'll have to log onto fb shortly and see what my KY family have to say!

Good morning, all. It's a "balmy" 62 here this a.m. with highs in the low 80's expected. We'll be getting a cool front later in the week that will kick it back to mid 70's. Works for me. Isn't it amazing how different the weather can be from one end of the state to the other?

DH is on his way to B&N. I have 1 load of laundry in and will do another. With the humidity and rain threats the past couple of days, I haven't done any, so the next day or two will be catch-up days. Today is towel day. Two loads. Eeek!

Headed to coffee w/Marty in a bit, then back for more "pukin' up Christmas" as DH calls it.

Smurf house. How cool is that??? When I was much younger, my mom had a blue van and my baby sister was into the Smurfs. There was a family friend who was an artist and he painted Smurfs on the side of the van, which became the Smurfobile. Mom would be driving down the highway and folks would slow down so their kids could check out the smurfs. I'm amazed she didn't cause any accidents!

I am afraid to get excited yet. The closing attorney called me on Wed and I gave instructions for the funds. She told me that we are going to close sometime this coming week, but do not have a date yet. I would love a date, so I can make arrangements for silly things like forwarding mail and utility shut off......
