OK, glad to see I'm not the only cranky pants today.
Sorry I've been among the missing, but Comcast crapped out this morning and was off all day long. At least my phone is not with them.
DH stopped by his primary care physician's office, told them about his episode and they took him right in and did an EKG on the spot. Turns out it was "slightly off". More tests and visits to follow. I'll keep you ladies in the loop. The dr. yesterday told him his BP probably dropped and his heart may have stopped and that's why he felt the way he did.
We have a notice on the community bulletin board to sell 2 pairs of bar stools. A lady called this a.m. and wanted to come by and look at them. Of course, I was in the dr's waiting room while DH was having his test. SHe said she'd call this afternoon and come look at them. OK. Early this afternoon, sick neighbor called and wanted me to take her to Wally World for groceries. Sorry, can't make it - have lady coming to look at bar stools. OK, I'll call other neighbor, says sick neighbor. Well, Other Neighbor (ON) is home - her car is in the garage and the door is open. ON wouldn't answer the phone or return Sick Neighbor (SN)'s calls. so, about 3:00, I call SN. Did you find someone to take you to the store? I ask. No, ON won't return my calls. OK, I'll have DH wait for buying lady to call. I give him my phone and take his. Take SN to Publix for groceries. As we're walking out of SN's house, ON drives out of hers. She never even bothered to return SN's calls. It takes us an hour to get like 5 things. Come home. Buying lady never called. Not happy.
Rant over.
OK, gotta drop into OOH and let them know why I wasn't around. I'll probably rant at them, too.
Tomorrow, I think I'll finish my crochet project and do absolutely nothing else. Just because.
I pushed myself on the elliptical today. In all I probably did about 30-45 minutes. I forget.
It's kind of hard to go to the gym on campus since classes are over for me but my health is important so I go.
I'm just wondering if I will go to tomorrow since I have to work and have a lot of errands to do.
Either way, I'm getting some kind of exercise.
pattie ok that is just a bit scary I am glad they took him right in to do the ekg most places would of scheduled an apt.
Well the starter was $390 good thing I had a $500 gift certificate I paid $100 for. they also did a oil change & replaced the wipers. They quoted me on a tune up($222) and recommended a rear differential service ($100) & a transmission service ($129) these numbers sounded high so I called the Toyota dealer yeah much lower tune up $150 rear diff $49 and trans $99 I guess since it is an Acura dealer they charge more
So I told them not right now and am picking the car up after school
I will take it to the Toyota dealer
That is not a bad price on a tune up Karla! Bob's Kia needs one too but unless I take it in I can't see him doing it A man and his money do not part well........unless it is for golf related issues.
Pattie that is scary, I'm glad his primary took him right in that is a sign of a no nonsense doctor!
