Wow, Karla...it's been 6 months?? Holy cow! Well, it's good he checks out the work that's been done. I think he needs to take you and DH out to dinner...to Ruths Chris.

ON my way to Marty and Dick's in a few. DH made scones for me to take. Yum.

Not sure what else is going on after that.

Take care, all.

Morning peeps!

It is a frosty 16 here this morning. Silly Shadow thought this would be a perfect morning to go down to the riverwalk. We are a block away from the riverwalk. Somehow I let myself get talked into this. I guess I should have put on my ear warmer......

Later we are going to the barn. I start riding again tomorrow. My horse is kind of dirty so he will get a good grooming today, including some quality time with the vacuum. I am sure there will be a mousie hunt while we are there.

Lol Evey at least the wind is not blowing too bad! Shadow remembers her old haunts, that is so great!

I just got up an hour ago! Of course I was up at 3am and let Cassy out and then forced myself to go back to bed. I fell asleep on the couch and she was curled up at my side on the floor

Gotta get the roast in crock pot and begin baking cookies, that is all my day will hold. Probably have to begin laundry too, that Laundry Fairy came back this week........I'm real tired of her!

Karla, how cool that CD is stopping in, enjoy your time with him, too bad he can't bring Chaos!

Gotta get, lots to do.

Oh Fuzzy thanks, that was the one I was looking for.......it won't let me put it in the shopping cart, only store pick up.

They don't really have a sweet taste, Karla. They are kinda like a sweet biscuit with fruit......I LOVE them. That is what I get for my trips to MI, a scone and a late from Starbucks (yes, we actually have one of them here).

He was! In fact, the first time I walked into the barn they were just turning him out into the indoor ring for some playtime. This time of year when the ground is frozen outside horses get turned out in the indoor every 2-3 days. Normally as soon as they turn him loose he is running & bucking. I called him and he froze, whipped around towards me, whinnied, and came over to the fence to see me. His 2 friends that he gets turned out with were trying to get him to come & play but he was busy sniffing my hair and wiggling his upper lip on my cheek. It was very touching.

Oh how great Evey, you have quite the way with animals! I am so happy to hear this, he missed you!
By the way, are you able to get a job at the barn and local barns working with the animals? Seems to me that this area is ripe for that type of job........too bad they are not in clerical

Problem solved with the telescope, I was able to track shipping today and it is scheduled to arrive here on 21st. I just have to have my travel date pushed back to Wednesday instead of Tuesday (that's okay the kids are probably bouncing off the walls anyway). It looks like they shipped it by air instead of ground, must be there way of saying "sorry we screwed up shipping". My day is looking good.......

Hi everyone,

It's so cool the way when animals see their human again, how they react.
I'm going to a little get together this afternoon for a Chritmas party.
I'm taking pita bread and hummus.

Happy Sunday to you all.

Wow Evey that's so cool that your horse did that! But I guess you're going to have to sit Shadow down and explain to her about asking you to go to the riverwalk when it's this cold...
Been keeping an eye out for my little buddy squirrel, but haven't seen him in quite a while, but dreamed about him 3 times now recently. I do see other ones out there in the trees looking like the Flying Wallendas. Yikes!

Ok, well finally have a little privacy, so it's time to go find a quickie power workout--maybe one of those Denise Austin ones. She's got some hard ones!

I'll be back.
