Good morning ladies

lol I had forgotten the muscles heavy yardwork affects
I am feeling the one on one with the pitchfork this morning and my legs are telling me "to much squatting"

It is suppose to hit 70 today I want to go to lowes after breakfast to get some mulch. I am debating on putting in some flower seeds. The long term forecast is not showing any freezes so I may take a chance

I just realized there is no football today (we don't watch the pro bowl) so not sure what later today will bring

So what are you all up to today ?

G'morning, Karla. YOu're up bright and early.

Headed over to Marty and Dick's for coffee in a bit. I'm sure that there's also some housework in the wind today, altho nothing as strenous that it would involve the chisel.

Today is DH's first day of "freedom" - he can drive again. So he may want to get out and do something, I don't know.

Mid 70's here today, maybe there'll be a pool visit. Not sure yet.

Gotta run over to OOH and open up the doors - Elston is down here in SW Florida for vacation, so I'm the hostess. Catch y'all later.

Morning all!

I for one was not up early but rather slept in until 8! Love these days!

My day is slave labor because of taking the day off yesterday, so I have cleaning and laundry to do. LOTS of laundry, I can tell I am wearing work clothes again because the basket has doubled in dirty laundry this week!

I have a pork roast to cook for dinner and I am thinking about putting stuffing in it for something different.

That will be all my day holds and if I hurry up and begin the afternoon will be mine to do as I wish.

Have a great day all.

Morning peeps!

Shadow & I have been for a nice long walk this morning.

I was going to try to make this a do nothing day, then I saw the weather forecast. *ahem* They are still a little uncertain of the exact track of the storm that is heading our way, but we have the potential for up to 20 inches of snow along with some ice and 30 mph winds heading our way. Now, I like winter, but that is a little extreme. They are calling for it to come in on the overnight tomorrow and last until sometime Wed night.

I am thinking that a trip to the grocery store will be in my immediate future, as well as a stop at Tractor Supply to get some more rock salt and perhaps something better for the driveway itself. Shoot, I might even look at snow blowers......

My friend and I are sooooo glad that Casino got his surgery when he did and we are not going to have to drive in that kind of fun weather. I guess I can have a do noting day when I am snowed in.

Oh, evey, I know I've said this before, but I can't help it...I do NOT miss the snow at all.

Sandy, that pork roast sounds good. I think it'll be leftovers at the NMS house today. I'll probably heat up some of that soup for lunch and the boiled dinner for supper. Sounds like a plan to me.

Thanks for the recipe Pattie I think he may just like that!

Oh Evey do I have to have a snow day right after beginning a new job? I heard snow, but not that much, sigh I need a snowmobile!

Pattie the pork loin is stuffed and in the crock pot, I was debating about crock pot versus the oven because of the stuffing but I tied it up with some string and am hoping for the best. Apple pie cooked too! Trying to make up for yesterday Now on to house work.

I just watched the weather channel Evey and it looks bad.........we are in the ice band and also the blizzard band, so wheee here is where the winter driving skills come back, or not

Pattie dinner will be about 6ish, don't think you have time to drive it.

I have just got back from running a bunch of errands. I am now feeling like I have enough food, dog food, cat food, kitty litter, and rock salt to get through this.

I even bought a poultry feeder at Big R that will allow both birds and squirrels to eat. The guy looked at me like I was crazy when I told him I wanted a feeder that DIDN'T keep the squirrels out. I also got a couple of pounds each of sunflower seeds and cracked corn.

Tuesday is the first day of this semester's PE class that I teach at the barn. Class is from 5:30-7:30. If it is even 1/2 of what they are calling for nobody will be able to get to the barn. Plus we have a home show this weekend. *sigh*

Of course, the weather people are wrong more often then they are right. Fingers crossed for them to be wrong on this one.
