I am hoping we will build the planting bed
I also have to do some cleaning for my company tomorrow

We are meeting our Sunday breakfast friend today instead of tomorrow because they leave to go out of town tomorrow morning

Hey are any of you making the traditional St Pattys day corned beef & cabbage ?

What fun things do you all have planned for today?

No corned beef and cabbage here Karla, I would be thrown out with the garbage if I cooked that. Myself, I like corned beef on a sandwich, and love cabbage raw or cooked so I would probably like it but Bob sure would not.

Beautiful up here, supposed to be 78 today so after I get some house chores done, and grocery shop, the yard is where I will be too. T's flower beds are in dire need of thinning out! After that maybe a little one on one time with the lawn chair and my book.

I'll check back later to say hi to all of you.

Oh glad the wedding and after party was fun Karla!

FYI its St. PADDY"S DAY not St. Patty's Day.. St. Patrick was a man not a woman.

Funny...I prefer to spell it St. Pattie's Day. However you spell it, may you have a grand one!

Top o' the mornin' to y'all!

Karla, glad to hear the wedding went off well. Any photos to share???

I went to the coffee social, gave my schpeil, and am taking the rest of the day "off". As Irish as I am, I don't do the corned beef thing - I'm not a big fan. I did make some ham soup w/cabbage in it, tho, does that count??? Give me a Reuben any day. I'm sure, however, a Killian's Red or two will be sacrificed for the cause a wee bit later.

Enjoy the day, all!

Happy St. Patricks Day!

I'm cooking corned beef, cabbage and onions, cheesy potato casserole, soda bread and peach cobbler. I'm playing my Irish music while I'm cooking and baking. Such happy music.

Well I am ready, finally, to head outside. It is 80 here right now Nick and Becka are working St. Patty's day and T and her sig. other are headed to the downtown area for a big celebration that is in the happening right now (since 7am this morning, green eggs and all). Bob and I on the other hand will stay at home and grill out (lol Bob celebrated St. Paddy's day last night).

Superchic have a wonderful day ANd to the rest of my friends, top of the day to you! Lol, not Irish, can you tell?

LOL, I am of Irish descent but the Irish don't usually eat stuff like corned beef. Apparently this is an Irish American thing which is fine with me.

Happy St Patrick's day all. Nothing new here, no workout today, but I did get to 'meet' 2 puppies! One's a 10 week old Australian shephard mix, weighs about 4 1/2 pounds, the other is a yorkie shzitsu mix that weighs about ONE pound! Oh, I was hating that, let me tell you! They were so cute!

Sandy, they didn't find anything abnormal. I go back on the 27th. They doubled me up on the prilosec and are trying to get something stronger okayed, and I elevated my bed more, and something [knock on wood] seems to be working finally. Not completely but somewhat.

Karla, didn't your hubby go to the wedding and stuff?

Well, of to go krogering, yippee.
