Hi, guys. Lots of rain here, not much else going on. A little breezy, thunder on and off, but no big deal so far. Yesterday morning, I dumped an inch and a half of rain out of our hand dandy rain gauge and another inch and a half today. Hubby wanted to jump in the car, go to Punta Gorda (about 12 miles away) to their Walmart ( a really nice one) and then to Golden Corral. Then he looked outside, saw how hard it was raining at that time and said, "never mind".
Debby's been raining on us for a couple of days now and she's hanging around thru tomorrow, I think.
I shouldn't complain. We've needed the rain for a while now. It looks like the storm will head to Texas.
And it gives Len an excuse to not work. He hasn't had a day off in two weeks.
I'm sure I'll be here on and off today; we're both going to take it easy.
