woo hoo installers are coming today !!!
They have to demo the pantry first (woo hoo more dust) then I guess they will start hanging the cabinets

I am headed out in about 15 mins to drop the dogs at "day care" we came up with a blocking plan using a baby gate & a 4x6 piece of plywood to keep them from the kitchen but with the guys going in and out it is best that they aren't here

I plan on using the day to get caught up on work that hasn't gotten done with all the demolition

Hey maybe I should hang out at one of your houses

What are you all up to today ?

I think Connie and I may just beat your temperatures if you want to "buzz" up this way! lol, another hot and humid week, no rain in sight. We are bone dry up here, the likes of which we have not seen in 30 years!

Karla, what fun! You will be so excited when you see them putting those brand new cabinet's in!

I've gotten my walk out of the way, and I plan on doing a Denise Austin cardio work out shortly. Then my day will consist of finishing laundry, and cleaning, probably some much needed reading time also.

I'll drop back later!

C'mon down, Karla. I'm not planning on dong a lot of stuff here today, anyway. But I know you...you'll be in the middle of all the "fun" going on.

Did my 3 miles (10 bursts), with 30 min. weights and stretches.

Not sure what I'm going to do today other than a load of laundry. Enjoy your day, all.

Sandy, what is the new Savage novel you mentioned? Is that an author?

Billy just texted me from Memphis and sent me a pic of his lunch, so...it will be a while before he arrives.

Going to work out and shower really quick in case mh gets off early because of the heat. Plus I have to call the ENT and find out why they never got back to me. I can't keep popping advil so I can eat and/or not be in pain.

No Connie, Savage is the name of a detective in Catherine Coultier's FBI series. I know Lisa reads them too.

Dripping sweat up here it is so hot, got myself an Icy drink

Oh, I might have read her too. Hard to remember.

Did the killer housewives upper body workout. Some days are better than others for that one. Today was not good.

Have to figure out what to cook without heating up the whole house using the oven...fun times.

Have a good one.

morning ladies
Well he got all of the cabinets up yesterday today will be getting the shelves and pull out drawers in as well as adjusting
I am pretty happy with the results
We do have to reorder a few things the drawer fronts are slightly off color wise from the cabinets it is as if they didn't glaze them as much
I posted pictures on my fb page those of you with FB go look and see if you can tell which ones I am talking about
I will up load the pictures so I can post here for the non fb'ers

I also need him to tweak the fridge surround I think he has it to tight
there is only 1/4" on each side of the fridge making it really difficult to get the fridge out
This will entail him moving the pantry to the left a bit
Yup know hes gonna love that but with the money I spent I don't think I am being unreasonable

I do like the way the wood cabinets flow with the rest of the house so much better than the white
Before it was as if the kitchen was a "focal" point

The one thing I am pretty sure of is I am going to have plenty of storage
Might be even able to get rid of the hall pantry

Connie is Billy on that ,not sure what it is called officially, break right before you leave the Military ?

In order to "stay out of his way" I mowed not only our lawn but my friend next door (just did their front) They are out of town because his dad passed away and I didn't want them to come home and have to deal with a jungle
