You are all making me miss my days of walking an energetic black lab...severak years ago, I used to nanny for a family who lived near Diamond Head on Oahu. I'd take the dog out for the four mile walk around the mountain. Amazing views and always someone fun to talk with along the way. Now, my SO and I have cats--they came with the house. All "fixed" now except for 4 kittens that were just born to a mom who disappeared a few weeks after they were born. She (the mom) was the only one we weren't able to catch to take to the vet when we were taking all the others. So, I'm off to do their morning feeding.

Exercise plan for the day: start with about 1/2 hour of yoga (DVD) and do some ab exercises and free weights here at home...then do my walk at the park at sunset after I work at my 'other' office in town later today. My SO is a recording engineer and has a session here at the house (our second floor is his studio), so I can't mow the lawn until tomorrow. I had considered making that my exercise for the day--but glad to have the excuse to procrastinate!

Have a wonderful Friday everyone...

Hi Ladies! It has been a couple of weeks I think since I've checked in with y'all. Yes, I haven't been very consistent with working out but school has been a pain and my brother and wife and kid were in town so I had to be a good hostess.

Anyway, I'm back and hopefully no more "slip ups." I jogged 2 miles today and did about 20 minutes of weights. I can't believe that only 2 weeks of being "lazy" and my body can't perform like it could since my break!

Anyway, hope everybody is doing well! The weather in Phoenix has been so NICE! It was in the 80s almost all week but the weekend is to bring 90+ degree weather. Oof! At least we're not in tornadoe country. If anybody is on this board, hope you are safe.
