Good morning everyone

Woo hoo it's Friday
Anyone else as excited as I am

We do however have some "nasty" heading our way from the west
doesn't this look "loud"

I think it may be "thunderstorm drug" time for the one dog

Going to go out fast to walk lola before the rain starts
I will go to the gym as long as long as the stuff is still far enough away
I really don't like leaving him alone during bad storms he shakes so much it makes me nervous
lol I am not sure if that make me a "good mom" or an "over protective" one

the weather guy just said "we have disruptive weather heading our way" lol no kidding if it is going to disrupt my nice gym plans

What is on your list today ?

karla

Disruptive weather, hmmmm. That is a new one, but I think I like it. When I checked yesterday we had a 20% chance of rain today, and I just now looked and it is up to 70%.

Better get my butt in gear.

Shadow caught herself a baby squirrel last night. I swear the thing just walked right into her mouth. She was so stunned that she put it down & watched it scamper up a tree. Apparently it is not about the squirrel at all, but the thrill of the chase. Glad to know she is not a killer.

Guten Tag. Vie gheits? I apologize for the spelling. It's been about 35 years since I took German, but since it's Oktoberfest time, I thought I'd greet everyone appropriately.

Your dog sounds just like you, Evey. A real Sweetie.

Karla, I think you're a good mom doing what you do to help your dog make it thru the t'storm. Disruptive weather. That's a new one.

Did 35 min. at the gym doing weights this a.m. In about 1/2 an hour, I'm going to ride my bike over to the clubhouse to meet my friend Marty for Tai Chi. So I just ate a frosted cookie from BJ's to give me a little boost. Hey, that's my story and I'm sticking to it! LOL

Have a great day, y'all.

Zer Gut!
Wind is howling here today. I am laying low today. I work nights all weekend and usually like to sleep in the first day so my first night isn't so rough, but I am up. Can't fight it. Work Fr-Sun, so no exercise. All I do is work sleep and drive when I work my weekend. Maybe I will get a 400 pound patient so I can get a work out heaving him around.

Oh, Karla....I don't know how you do all those classes in the same day. 35 min. of weights, 10 min. over on the bike, 50 min. of tai chi, then 10 min. back on the bike. I think I've done enough today. Quick! Oxygen!!!!
Don't you be touchin' my cookies.

Missmouse, I wouldn't be wishing a 400 lb. patient on anybody!

well lola is mad at me cause I am a "bad mom"
I forgot we usually walk early so when I met my friend at 9:30 I forgot the heat in the middle of the 3rd loop lola decided she was hot and layed right down in the shade of the car we were passing. oops so I told my friend I was turning around to her home I took the
water that was in my bottle and poured it on her back and head just in case.
let me tell you when she realized we were heading home there was no stopping her.
We got in the house I took her on the back porch and wet her down she had a drink and a few ice cubes
She is laying on the cool tile with this "what was that all about mom " look on her face poor thing
but shes fine just working the guilt factor

Ha! My last dog would do that! Hard to wear a black fur coat in FL, I know. She would drag me from shady spot to shady spot. At least your dog is little. when a 130 pound dog decides it is time to rest you don't move until she says its time.

Hey all!
I'm back from our short trip vacation. Unfortunately it was too short of course but what can you do??? We had very nice weather from Mo-We but yesterday it got very cold and rainy so I caught a cold.

We did a lot of walking each day, either in the very very small village we stayed at in the morning or in a bigger town or city after lunch. It was a good workout I even lost 2lbs though I ate more than when at home .

Today only the drive back and grocery shopping as well as washing loads and cleaning up the clothes mess we brought back home.

I'm glad my DS stays with my parents overnight. They love it and I have the opportunity to at least sleep till 7:45 a.m. tomorrow .

Ok, did a bunch of exercises, and as I suspected, a couple from yesterday [not too sure which ones though] have rendered me a bit sore in my big old behind area-or should that be big, old, behind area!!?! Well, who cares-it's FINALLY FRIDAY-hope you all get to do something FUN! Or watch something GOOD or eat something SPECTACULAR! Or, all three works for me!
