Getting ready for grocery shopping and other traditional St Patrick's Day festivities. Anybody have any fun plans?

Today I bought 2 boxes of alyssum and a box of wildflower mix at Dollar Tree! I am ready to go. I am going to get more alyssum and put it throughout the main beds for ground cover. I think it will look really pretty and give the other flowers more pop. And, I swear they practically glow in the moonlight!

Good morning Connie

Sorry I forgot to post yesterday.

I meant to after we got back from breakfast but started in on the yard and didn't get bak on line

I love alyssum !! I found a new version called snow princess it is suppose to be able to handle the heat and humidity better I put 1 on each side of the beds by the front door so you can smell them as you walk in I think I also may add a couple more.

You know I bet they would be really good in the flower tower

I looked for the "components" to make it this weekend. So far the fencing you need I have only found in a big roll and it was $50 so I am going to see if I can find somewhere they sells if by the ft or even by the yard. Other wise by the time I add the plants it would be close to $100.

Got a lot of yard cleanup done and lol boy do I feel it

Pruned back the stuff that was affected by the frost, weeded fluffed the mulch on all but the one bed on the side of the house.

Hubby cleaned up the bird & critter feeding area boy are we glad we had that back gate put in.

Hubby had a couple beers to celebrate St Pattys day I enjoyed looking at all the new green that is emerging
