I want to finish the weeding before it gets too hot.
It is suppose to be 86 by noon and 90 by 3. Plus yard waste pick up is tomorrow so it will go bye bye

Weeding gives you almost a total body workout, you get the upper body part in the pulling and digging and the squatting up and down works the lower body. plus you have the sweating out of the toxins

I have to close out last week book stuff this afternoon.

Thats my "exciting day"

What are you all up to ?

I had my hour with Diana this morning. We did mostly abs and legs today.

It's our anniversary - 18 years! So we're off to get our presents.

Morning!

No walk today, or at least this morning. It is raining here today, but will be sunny tomorrow. I have finished my DA cardio workout and now on for the rest of the day.

Bob has some phone calls to make in order to help with the decision making. It is a no brainer in my opinion but I am not the person who has to work in the place.

GIrls and I are heading out to the library in a bit, gotta start out their summer right!

Happy anniversary Pattie and Len!

THanks, Karla.

No presents. I had some $$ stashed to get Len a portable A/C unit for the garage that he wanted, but after talking to the guy at Home Depot, we realized it wouldn't do any good since it's not insulated. How's your garage since you did it???

Actually insulating the garage really makes a difference. Hubby said it isn't as hot. He also insulated the garage door (actually did that first) It really helped because the morning sun would beat on the door. HD has the precut door insulation panels (I think you have to order them online)
Our A/C said you can get one of the window units and sit it on a cabinet or stand and run the evaporation hose out under the garage door. you don't have to buy the standing unit. This would work for us because we are not allowed to have a unit in the window.

We get the afternoon sun on ours. We're not supposed to have window units either.

Then you definitely want to insulate the garage door if you get the brutal afternoon sun
