Put up our Christmas tree yesterday

I have been telling hubby that I wanted a new Christmas tree, the one we have now you have to put each branch in then put on the lights, So I wanted a prelite one . well yesterday he said lets go looking

so instead of putting it in the garage or attic for 2 weeks we put it up in the family room

So today we are going to decorate the tree that is lol I have to wait till Thanksgiving before we do the lights on the house

So we also went to the mall omg there are some ugly shoes out there so I bought nothing
ok now to make this post even longer and off topic
i was woken at 1 am by this noise
hmmm seems clue was still determined to get into lolas bed lol he even dragged his blanket with him
rofl this time I grabbed the camera

I guess where they is a will theres a way

ok off to meet our friends for breakfast they are back from the cruise

my exercise today will be up and down the attic steps getting the ornaments and also mowing the lawn

karla

Your pupster is so cute and damn funny to boot!

A lot of people are putting their lights up outside before the white stuff comes a calling. Nothing worse than trying to do that task when it's snowing. I think Thanksgiving weekend we will be headin' out to get our tree. It'll sit in the garage for a few days to make sure there are no squatters in it!

I am so excited about Christmas this year as my hubster will be home instead of some "God" awful sand pit and we will be around family. For him it'll be over 22 years since he spent Christmas with all his family ... bring on the egg nog

Anyway, back on topic ... went for two walks yesterday. I'll be headin out soon with my old timer on the leash, then with the hubster (not on the leash!) after I make buscuits and gravy for breakfast ... yummy!

Have a wonderful day everyone, and please take a moment or two to remember our wonderful and brave Veterans.

Thanks for the reminder, Tet. We owe the vets so much.

Karla, my mom's had her tree up for about 3 weeks now. She says that if the stores can have theirs up, so can she. That explains a lot about me, now, doesn't it??? :-D

We always put ours up T'giving weekend. We have a prelit one, too. It's the only way to go, that's for sure. Those babies are HEAVY, tho! Woo!

Have been lazy, lazy, lazy lately as far as exercise goes. Will change that starting tomorrow. Maybe today. I might get on my bike and see if there are any cookout survivors at my friends' house. We left early. I'd had enough to drink and decided it was time to go before I drank any more. The food was wonderful. Especially the home made cookies. yum.

Have a great Sunday, all. Let's hear it for the vets.

Morning Peeps!

Wow! Never again will anyone tell me I put my tree up too early! Mind you, all of the Christmas stuff is in the carport. Lights are being checked & animatronics
are being tested.......

We spent hours yesterday at the dog beach. Running & running & running. Stopped once to dig a hole in the sand. Ran some more. Swam a few times (Shadow, not me. Water is waaaay too cold for me!). Ran even more.

Today we have been to the park. Many squirrels out this morning.

Heading to the flea market here soon, then I think I hear the laundry calling my name.....

I did it, finally got over and raked my neighbor's leaves yesterday, 2 hours worth, but it got dark, so I had to quit! Now it's been raining off and on-doggone it!?! But I did sneak in a quick workout, I can't stand working out while my husband is around.
