Call them, what can it hurt? How about the U of M?
I don't know about U of M. I have a list of trials that I'm looking thru to see where they are, etc. but I am not sure what's what about what I am reading.
If you want to. I am looking at a list of trials right now, but so far, none are around here. I will talk to someone at the cancer center, I guess. The woman that's in charge of the trials. I can call her Monday, maybe see her when I go in for speech therapy on the 26th. And, I'd like to ask the dr why he offered no other treatments, like I am seeing a sort of surgery, unless it is just not viable with this. I need answers. And I need to see if there are any options that can buy me more time without killing me in the process.
From what I am reading someone should be doing a biopsy, I know this is secondary cancer but I think it still needs to be graded in order for them to get a treatment. PM me the town you live in.
Connie do they know what kind of lung cancer it is? That way when you are talking to the different places they may have more options?
I am stopping by the research place on Monday to sigh the "you can't be part of the study so sign these" papers and I will ask them if they know of any trials in your area
Connie the message board/forum that helped me is medhelp. I know that there was another one that listed all the treatments available and trials available but I will have to look for that one later.
Gracie has a vet appointment this morning and then I am meeting Bob over at the other place so we can clean and do the walk through. I can not wait for this day to be over!
