Good morning Karla. I hope our taxman has some good news for us this year, we could really use it. Some cleaning and laundry, a step work-out, then going to my sister's for a little family get together. Have a great day! Jeannie

I'm not sure what's on the agenda for today. Tomorrow, there's the annual Gumbo Fest at the Shell Factory. DH doesn't know it yet, but we're dragging him there! They have zydeco bands there and everything. Can't wait!

Happy Saturday, all, and welcome to all our new friends. It's nice to have new blood in the group.

Morning Peeps!

Shadow's bff Dallas is coming to visit today. Ugh! He has soooo much energy! So, Shadow & I have already taken the short tour of the neighborhood and we will hit the dog park as soon as Dallas arrives. Later I will take both dogs (or maybe just Dallas) for a bike ride. LOL! Dallas wore Shadow out in just over 2 hours last time, but he was here for 6 hours. Guess who he spent the next 4 hours wearing out??

Oh, keedokey, I just shoveled snow for an hour, and that is going to be my exercising to the day! Got all bundled up, found a nice, long, warm colorful scarf to add to my Eskimo/Unabomber ensemble-got a little Where's Waldo in there now! Even the cat was acting like she didn't know me! It felt so good out there, almost made a snow angel-but then I remembered how old I was.

I can get down with the best of 'em, it's getting back UP that might pose a problem!

My workout was putting more of my clothes in the wardrobe cabinet
See I learned some new vocabulary so that all of you can understand me lol
Wish I could buy clothes for 1000 USD!!!

Anyway while sorting through all the stuff I collected over the years I also threw away nearly 3 big bags full of clothes. Might be there's some more space for new things

Also did some laundry, some cleaning and running up and down two flights of stairs to get all the clothes together.
Oh, nearly forgot to tell you that in the a.m. we went to the furniture shop b/c one of the drawers was damaged and had to get it exchanged. But the shop is about 45 minutes from home.

Had a nice evening with hubby, cousin and her bf, having dinner with them, playing cards and watching some TV. It's 00:47 a.m. and I'm going to bed now.

Snow angels, I can only dream of them. It's still way too warm for January. My tulips are peeking out of their beds all over the garden. Hope they won't get any frost or else they freeze off .

Nite!!!
