Good morning everyone

Happy Saturday lol I had to check I lose track of the day when hubby is off yesterday felt like Sunday.

This morning I have a few errands to run I have to get dog food and chicken wire.
Isn't that a strange combo

I am also thinking of picking up a Peach tree I have the perfect spot for one , lol well as soon as I get rid of a few extra plants. I so wish you guys lived closer and they could find new homes with you all .

Later we have to go to hubby's old bosses retirement party it is from 3 to 7 which IMO is just weird hours for a party.

So whats on your list of "to do" today

Extra credit for those that do exercise because we all know that I don't on the weekend

Hi Karla! Busy weekend. We have a showing today and my son has 2 basketball games. Tomorrow is our open house and can you believe the buyers that walked away are now trying to get back under contract? Of course they want some additional money off. We're just ignoring them for now. Have a great day! Today is my birthday so going to try and squeeze in a dinner and oh yeah, I ordered a Dallas Cowboys football ice cream cake. Oh, almost forgot, probably taking the day off from exercising. Jeannie

OMG, Jeannie, you have quite the weekend going.

First off, happy, HAPPY Birthday. Next, best of luck with the showing and the open house and, finally, enjoy that cake, girl!

Karla, I wish we were closer too. You could advise me on my empty front "garden" and maybe get rid of a few plants. Oh, yeah, and we could eat pizza together! LOL

I'm encouraged today. the scale has finally started going in the right direction - down. Not a lot yet, but I didn't gain it all overnight, did I? So I want to get my butt walking again today. It felt good yesterday and felt better this morning when I saw the scale.

Y'all have a great day and a wonderful long weekend.

Jeannie, I tried to rep you, but I'm still in purgatory! I owe you one.

NEWS FLASH!

Hubby just announced we're going to Gulf Coast Town Center, this really neat shopping place that's set up like an old fashioned town, but the buildings are all restaurants and shops. Cool! Guess I'll get my walk in there.

Thanks, Karla. I kind of figured it would happen once the chocolate cake disappeared.

:-}

Morning peeps!

Happy happy joy joy to you Jeannie!

*sighs* No day off for me. My wild dog just dragged me around at about Mach 2. She has a play date later, which means I will be at the dog park.

Everybody enjoy your day.

Hello Ladies!
Better late than never... had a pretty busy day today. Spent the morning running around putting the finishing touches on the house for the showing and 0 people, yes that's right, 0 showed up for it. Oh well, we still have that couple coming for the second showing next weekend and it is far from spring here, so trying to stay positive.
No exercise for me today other than cleaning and then we spent the afternoon walking around our tiny mall.

Now on to the good stuff...

Happy Birthday Jeannie!!

I hope your showing/open house go well and I am sure you will have a solid offer soon!

NMS, glad to hear the scales are tipped in your favor, it is very encouraging and motivating when that happens! I don't know exactly where in FL. you live but every time I see that commercial for The Villages, I always think of you now. It looks like a fun place to live with tons to do!

Karla, hope the party was fun and yes that does sound like kind of an odd time for one.

Evey, how is the job going? It should be about time for Nascar to start up soon, are planning to go see any of the races down there?

Well, have a good evening everyone!

Oh, no! I wish it had been more successful. I'll keep my fingers crossed thru next year.

LOL the Villages! No way we could afford that! We're in a different community, a bit less expensive, but still nice, in North Fort Myers. I like it here a lot. Being able to swim outside in February is definitely a good thing. Like my friend Marty says, "Life is Good!"

LOL! The job was a one day deal. I made some grocery money, and got out of the house for a few hours.

My husband has already been giving me a hard time about the racing. Speed has 100+ hours of coverage of Daytona. My husband just does not understand the need to watch qualifying. It is so very expensive to go to the big time races. I prefer to have a comfy couch, a bathroom with no line, and instant replay for watching. I do have a friend who does drag racing here locally and we go out to support him often. That only costs $5/person and you can bring your own food.

Sorry to hear your open house didn't draw any potential buyers. If it makes you feel any better it happens here all of the time.

LOL NMS! That place does look expensive, but I did wonder if you were one of the ladies doing the Rocket -style high kicks in that commercial.
I am glad you found a nice warm place to call home and it always sounds like you are having so much fun, even when you are sick!

Evey, I always get a kick out of just how many women there are on the forum who love sports! I'm with you, watching from the couch suits me just fine during football season and is WAY cheaper!
