Morning peeps!

Add me to the list of folks who will mostly be hiding indoors today. In the mid 90's today, but we got some rain last night so the humidity is up. It is GROSS out there already.

Didn't stop Shadow from dragging me around the neighborhood, but she was looking for a drink of water 1/2 way. I guess it is time for me to start toting water along on the morning walk. I felt so bad, I knew she was asking for a drink, but I didn't have anything to give her.

I remember back when I was going to school in phila we didn't have A/C either I don't know why I though they had put A/C in nowadays
I can just imagine how hot those classes must be
I am glad they are keeping the wellness of the kids in mind
we had one teacher who drew a picture of a air conditioner on the blackboard
hes reasoning was "if you imagined it you would feel cooler"

wow i can't imagine the heat yuou guys are experiencing!! It's hot and sunny here but nowhere near your temperatures! I'm at college today then will be off to work. I go to Florida in 16 days wooooo!! so excited!!

Well, it's not raining so far today! There's a nice cool breeze blowing which I wish I could send to you guys who are sweltering. WoW ... for once I get to send you folks some nice weather!

I'll be heading out into the garden. Yesterday got completely messed up so I'm hoping to get a lot of raking, dirt throwing, fertilizing and seeding done, fingers crossed, today.

Keep cool all of you, drink plenty of fluids and please don't overdo it!

oh, almost forgot. We received an offer last night, somewhat low, but will counteroffer in a day or so. Also, still waiting for the party that has it down to our house and one other. Hoping for an additional bid from them.

Hi everyone! It will be a warm one here as well (around 94), but with no humidity, it is not so bad to be out in it. I ran around and watered everything this morning and now am making out my to-do list for the week. Not sure about exercise for today, this may be the housecleaning day so that would take care of the exercising. Otherwise I will fit in a walk this morning or one this evening when it cools back down.

Sounds like our surgery people are healing and recovering nicely. Glad to hear it!!

Well, all, Mr. NMS made it home, safe and sound yesterday. Although I don't know how. We had a tornado touch down in N. Ft. Myers yesterday and it struck as his plane was coming in for a landing! He said that it was a real bumpy approach, but everything was fine. Of course, we had no idea at the time that there was a tornado in the area. We drove home, only to find on the N. Ft. Myers side, there were no traffic lights working and there were emergency vehicles and police all over the place! Just as we got to DH's favorite restaurant, there were lights. We came home, made sure the kitties were ok, then went out to eat.

Oh, this is the exercise forum, isn't it!

Did my 30 min. gym weight program with the extra long bike ride today. Then DH and I went to Publix for some groceries, since I ate everything while he was gone, then over to Ft. Myers to the mall.
