JnR ... hang in there! Keeping my fingers crossed for you all.

Pattie ... rather you than me with the snake. I hate the things. If I had seen it I would have made a crusty old sailor blush with my choice of words.

Well, we finally got some of the big stuff moved in the house. Now I can finish painting the one room. That will be a project for next week. Went for a nice walk this morning. It was wonderfully cool with a slight breeze. I'm now gearing up to clean the house ... someone please give me a good ol' shove!

Have a wonderful day everyone and Charley don't go and hurt yourself again!

I finished mine up a while ago, but wanted to get a few things done before I sat down to report in; I seem to get kind of side-tracked once I get on here! Did a good vigorous, albeit shortish workout today. Although, I am pretty sure Pattie got the biggest cardio "workout" of any of us today, seeing that snake! Leaping lizards, and all that!

JnR-does AA work for him? Maybe Narcotics Anonymous would be a better fit-sometimes people have the perception that AA meetings are just a bunch of old drunks eating donuts, drinking stale coffee and smoking. Good luck to you, but don't be too trusting. He can be your helper while he looks for work!

Ok, now I have to get busy again, been feeling kind of weepy lately. Might be time to break out my secret weapon and crank up the tunes!

Am I the only one on here then that likes snakes?

JNR- Best of luck with your stepson moving back in and in hopes he wants to straighten out. I was in the same situation several years ago. Geez it was a horrible experience but we all got through it.

We went motorcycle riding today and just got back. Getting ready to rain.

Song, I also like snakes, at least when they are safe behind glass in the zoo. I'm glad we don't have such critters slithering around over here.

JnR, have my fingers crossed for your stepson and your family!
