Good morning everyone
ok watching the weather channel
they said we are expecting 2" of rain tonight and again tomorrow then possible effects from fay on wed
Fay still has not made her intentions known which is the frustrating part

ok I am really sore today not sure if it is from the elliptical or the major yard work yesterday

as soon as I get this posted it is off to the "library" I am going to try and do 35 or 40 mins this time hubby went into work today so I can crank the music

I will then be heading downtown to take my completed paperwork and exam certificate to the bonding agency for the final part to get my notary stamp

So whats your day look like

Karla and the gang, I've missed you! Its been crazy but looks like we're closing on the house this Wednesday. Yeah! No place to live yet though. Karla, we may have to bunk at your house until we find a place in NC. Oh, and haven't done a serious work-out since last week, but I guess packing and moving will substitute for now.

Morning peeps!

Shadow was full of herself this morning & dragged me all over the neighborhood.

Watching Fay with some apprehension this morning. Last night the forecast track took it slightly west, which would have allowed her to roll the coast. That would be bad. The east side of the storm will have the worst weather & will spawn tornadoes. This morning the thinking has shifted right back to where it was yesterday, making landfall right near Pattie. *sighs* Hurricanes always do this, the forecast always changes, and you have to pay attention.

O.K., will finish my morning cuppa caffeine then it is off to get insurance for the cargo trailer & hit Wally world (heaven help me, the day before a hurricane) to get some cleaning supplies.

Yay, Jeannie! Glad to hear about your house. That'll be a load off, won't it?

Just got off the phone w/Karla. What a corker you are, girl! I needed the smiles, though, I'm glad she called.

Evey, I'm not too concerned about Fay. We're as set as we're going to be. My sister's just worried that the house will get airborn and land on her! Speaking of corkers... Anyway, all the stuff that can be is off the lanai. Car is in the garage, and we're just waiting for Fay to hit. The local channel says we are not going to see another Charley (not YOU, Charley - the hurricane!), so relax, stay at home and be safe. Their forecast calls for her to hit south of us, near Tampa. If so, that's the best scenario for us, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Evey, I think that would be good for you, too.

Well, as I promised Karla, I'll try to keep in touch as soon as we have power (assuming we will lose it). My CD friends are right after the parents, my BFF, then CD. So if you dont' hear from me, don't worry too much. I'll let you know how we make out.

Take care, everybody. Evey, batten down those hatches, girl, and hang on. It's going to be a bumpy ride!

Good morning all. Batten down the hatches you all! And stay safe... Congrats to Jeannie on the house closing this Wed! And congrats to Karla for getting her Notary so she can marry Rance/Sweden. When hubby and I got married we wanted a very close friend of ours to marry us. Turns out in California (or at least in our county) that someone can be 'deputized' for a day to legally marry a couple. That was so neat and meant so much to me especially as he was one of the dearest friends I ever had. I say 'had' because he died of cancer a few months after our wedding, it was just a blessing that he was feeling well enough to oversee our ceremony and add his special touch.

Anyway, hubby and I will head out for 'adult swim' this morning, then I need to wash my car and do some chores around the house. Hubby swam a mile last time, I am not the strongest swimmer so I mostly walked/ran up and down the lane he was swimming in. I definitely felt it tho! And got some underwater arm exercises in too.

Okay everyone, have a great day and stay safe! How are you feeling today Charley??

LOL Pattie! If you want to sound like you live here you have to say "hunker down". My only real concern here is all of the tall old trees in the yard. They are right over the house and the driveway. I am wanting to move the cargo trailer, but I don't really have a better spot for it.

I am glad this thing shifted back to the east a little. It would be really bad if it rolled the coast.

Just wait. Folks up north will be watching tomorrow as it makes landfall & will call you during the height of the storm. *shakes head* During Charley I had a neighbor call me from their vacation in PA to ask me if their house was o.k. I told them I would be happy to check, once I thought it was safe to go outside.

Speaking of that, Pattie, how are things at NN's house? She's gone right? Hopefully her son will take care of what needs to be done. But that's hardly a given, if my nn's sons are any indication.

Finished up mine for today, did abs, abc-which is hard! and legs and d-d-derrierie

Oh-I saw this on the news a couple weeks ago, they were talking to a woman in Houston about some storm/hurricane heading that way, and her name was "Karla" with a K! Isn't that a song too?

Well, safe hunkering to you Floridians, and happy Monday, all!
