what fay is going to do
she has slowed down so now there is a chance that she might not make it to the water to strengthen up to hurricane level
we are waiting for the 8am update to see if they can tell where she will turn

imo it seems as if the local news guy are disappointed they were so excited that a hurricane might of come visiting

we had a small band of wind & rain come through around 6
so I canceled my trip to sams

I will be hitting the elliptical as soon as I finish my posts

how much rain did you "southern gal's" end up getting

song how is the new puppy doing

Morning peeps!

Karla, aren't these things fun? We didn't get so much as a drop of rain here. It is still overcast & breezy, but no rain.

Glad to hear the Pattie weathered it well.

Bet you'll feel that tomorrow!

O.K., all of the utility companies have been called & service is scheduled to be discontinued on 8/29. What a P.I.A. the cable company is! Someone is coming to look at my car this afternoon, hopefully it will sell.

Where is everyone else this morning?

Good morning! Glad to hear that you Floridians are all just fine.

It is a lot nicer and warmer this morning (no fog) so hubby and I will head down to the pool at 10am for adult swim. My friend loaned me her water barbells and a book on aqua aerobics and exercises so will try some new things in the water today. Other than that, not much else on the agenda... we are still working on the house, slowly but surely! I don't care, I like the drywall look much better than that ugly old rock wall, even not textured and painted!! LOL

How are you feeling this morning Charley?

Those water exercises sound pretty interesting, I'll bet that's a really good workout!
Only did a half an hour today, but my neighbor has an exercise bike in her basement, maybe I'll hop on that for a while in one of my treks over there for dog duties. I hope she gets home soon-but I was supposed to watch them over the weekend again, anyway, so who knows.

Tomorrow (late afternoon) I am getting high speed internet hooked up from our cable company-hopefully!!! My faith in their abilities is less than overwhelming, but being as I'm as computer illiterate as they come, it'll be hard tellling if it's MY fault or theirs!?! So if it appears that I'm MIA, you'll know why-speaking of which-has anyone heard from Tet?

Hope you're all staying safe and sound!

You all are pulling through okay it sounds like.
We all went on a long long walk this morning. The new pup requires more wearing out but he's coming along fine. The first day and night I was worried but he seems to be doing fine now. Trying to teach him how to sit. He's still relunctant to go into his crate at night but we get him in there.
I miss water aerobics. I really enjoyed doing that everyday when I was in Texas.
I was reading this article this morning on the flat belly diet, mostly talks about eating some of the good fats at each meal. Wonder if it helps.
You Floridians make sure you have plenty of water and canned foods to have around just in case.
Charley, check in with us.

The water barbells worked great!! I bet my arms will be sore tomorrow. I am really liking the morning water sessions and hubby is too. He only likes to exercise if it is something fun, like he hates walking just for the sake of exercising but will swim, play basketball, etc... I only wish we had started this at the beginning of summer! Last year they closed the pool after Labor Day, maybe this year they will keep it open longer now that it is solar heated.

How is the storm? Are you getting lots of rain in your area of Florida?
