We have been seeing some pretty interesting gusts hubby said it started around 1 am we lost power for about 50 mins

So I guess it's safe to say she moved west
so they say this is how it will be for most of the day
last night the wind was hitting the front of the house now it is coming from all directions

then maybe some sewing
because I don't think I am going to be going out today

We are finally getting some rain from Fay. It is breezy & raining here. Which means that Shadow walked 2 houses up the street and then headed home.

We decided not to play yard sale today. Yesssssss!

Just more packing & loading for today.

evey wow how weird is that but now that it is heading west your getting the southern part of the storm
Yeah probably a good idea not to yard sale today
we are now in the bands coming from the south so it is hitting the back of the house

wow they just said we could get up to another 6" of rain

Hi all! Just to let everyone know our closing went well on Wednesday and now we're staying at the in-laws in NJ until we find a place in NC. We're hoping to be on the road early next week. Hope everyone is okay with this storm thats out there. Evey, when are you leaving? I'll be in touch and take care everyone.

Does your neighborhood flood? I know where my grandmother lives they got 30+ inches of rain & everything is under water. This storm is moving too slow.

We're still getting the "bands" too. Those storms were worse than when Fay was actually here! Unbelievable. Stay safe and dry, everbody.

no luckily we don't flood here though I am seeing some puddling in the backyard in the low spots
it will be interesting to see how high the "lake" ie retention pond in our neighborhood has gotten
