We have a plan!!

DH and I are going out on bikes early, and taking his new GPS toy with us - it's a hiking version, so you can go off into the woods and never get lost...at least that's the theory!

Hopefully we will return to tell the tale......

Happy Sunday to all

LOL Karla, I should have called you. I've been awak since about the same time!

DH went to his favorite hang out. You got it. Barnes and Noble. So I'm sitting here, w/my cup of coffee and a nice slice of banana bread, catching up. After that, I have about 3 months' worth of ironing to do (can you tell it's high on my priority list?) and I think that'll be my chore for the day. Oh, I have some laundry in and I've already put away the dishes in the dishwasher and done all the morning stuff. Methinks there's a trip to the pool somewhere in there! Maybe a burger and a bloody mary, too. (they have a tiki bar they open on the weekends.)

Enjoy your Sunday, all.

Morning peeps!

We have another lazy day planned for today. We'll see if Shadow follows the plan. So far we have walked 1/2 of the property this morning and have cleaned up from the impromptu cook out we had last night. My friend has a schedule very different from the one I am used to and I seem to be staying up a lot later here. I can't wait to have my own space again.

I bought an SUV yesterday. It is nice to know I can go somewhere and don't need to ask permission. My friend has been incredible about letting me use her vehicle, but I always felt like I needed to get right back here in case she needed it. Now I can take my time & explore a little if I want to.

Good morning!

Well, we had a lot of fun at the poker party, hubby lost $40 but that is not so bad for a full evening of fun. Lots of good finger foods and wine. We ended up driving home last night as the party wrapped up earlier than we had anticipated and hubby only had one beer the whole evening... I had a few glasses of wine so there was no way I was getting behind the wheel

So, probably a lazy day around here. It is cool this morning but should warm up a bit in the afternoon. Maybe some gardening later on.

Happy Sunday
