I am getting here real late tonight..did my one hour strength training class today. Just remember, to get strong abs you need to work upper and lower and the waist. The waist excerise with the weight and arm over head is a real good one.

The one with the weight hanging down in one hand and the (empty)arm/hand brought overhead-that one? Don't suppose there are any faster stomach/ab flatteners? Not looking for a six pack!!
fuzzymystic...To get the abs you want, you have to do 3 things
Ist....cardio, we have a layer of fat over the ab mucsle, cardio gets rid of that.
2nd...Watch the amt. of fat the we eat.
3rd... all 3 parts of your abs.(upper lower and sides)need to be
worked...crunches work only the upper abs.
Good luck...I love that Karla started this topic, I like reading what we all do to stay fit!!
ok let me give you 2 different lower ab movements
lay on your back with your feet off the floor and your knees right over your hips...start with your R leg..bring it out for 2 counts(keep the leg close to the floor) bring it it for 2 counts. Than alternate with the L leg. Keep alternating each side R and L. Do as many as you can.
The next is called a plank. turn over on your belly, get up on your elbows and your toes keep your butt and back straight. Hold that position for 30 seconds. Hope this helps.. Millie
