Wow I just realized that June is half over is it me or has it flown by

lol maybe that means the heat will go as fast !!
Evey I spoke to my lawyer friend who is in Indianapolis and she declined my "kind offer " of some of our heat she said "we have our own 90's thank you"

Is it as humid up there as down here in FL ?

ok my NN called me at 7:45 this morning I guess she got back early from her "prowl" around the neighborhood (mind you I didn't get up till almost 7:30) to discuss last nights storm and said she was thinking about calling me around 11:20
When I mentioned that I was glad it was last night instead of tonight because we are having the house pressure washed she started on how pretty the front of our house is and it is too bad we can't park our cars in the garage so everyone could see how nice the house looks sigh !! She has already made it know that she wishes the HOA required folks not leaving cars out

Fuzzy I think our NN neighbors should have each others numbers so they can call each other instead of us

lol ok done NN ranting

I have to go move all the plants from the screenroom since I didn't get it done yesterday

I may do some rearranging of the stuff when they are done lol like some relocating some of plant from our house to someone elses hmm MY sister may not realize she needs some !!!

So how will you be spending your day ?

Karla, we sit on the lanai all the time and watch the storms. This from a woman who used to be terrified of t'storms. Now, I accept them. But when a big boomer hits, look out!

Oh, man...I don't miss our NN. Don't you love when they give you those not-so-subtle messages like "your house is so pretty, it's too bad the cars block it"? When we first moved here, we had 2 housefuls of furniture - the previous owners and ours. So our garage was full to the door with stuff we couldn't get in the house until some of that stuff went away. Didn't our neighbor (not NN, a different one) complain because "you're not supposed to have 2 cars parked in your driveway." Well, where we wanted to put the 2nd one, she didn't want to know!

Anyway....

Did the walk to the gym, 20 min. on weights, long walk back.

I hate to complain (really, I do!), but I ache all over. My back, my hips, my thighs. I'm sure it was from all the bending, stooping, etc. yesterday in the garden. Ibuprofen, here I come....

Road trip today! Oh, and tonight is the make-up anniversary dinner. We're supposed to go to a neat Mexican place tonight - Iguana Mia. It's supposed to be the best in the area. We'll let you know.

LOL...after all this talk about NN's and all....three guesses who showed up at her house today after almost 6 months away. Yep. My own personal NN. This is only her 2nd visit. I managed to be away for the first one.

Morning peeps!

It is currently 76 with 77% humidity. Of course, it rained all day yesterday and is supposed to rain later today. Rainy season here ends in a few weeks, then the humidity drops like a rock. They are calling for 90 tomorrow.

Shadow & I have taken our walk this morning.

I had a funeral at the farm to go to. One of our old timers had to be put down yesterday and we always have a ceremony. I hope as many people come to my funeral.

O.K., off to paint window frames.....

lol pattie
I hope mine doesn't decide to come out and "advise" the pressure washer guys which woo hoo they are running late so I was able to get almost everything out of the screenroom

ok I will admit it I have to many screenroom potted plants these can't take full sun so I can't move them into the back gardens

I asked my sister if she wanted some lol she said she is on overload in her screenroom

Can't give any to my MIL because she forgets to water them

I may take a couple over to Chaos's house and put them in his pool screenroom
hey lol I will be over there at least once a week so I know they will be watered

I wish you all lived nearer so I could find them new homes with you all

Well Karla, it appears that I will be moving to Ocala, so you can always send some plants my way. *heavy sigh* Realtor is coming on Monday to do the CMA.

It is very touching. We play Amazing Grace, read the Rainbow Bridge, do a shot (or pretend to), and tell fun stories about the deceased. Interesting thing this morning- all of the horses that live in the field came and stood by the fence as close as they could get and watched. Everybody loved Buck.
