Good morning everyone

Lots going on this weekend we have Halloween and then there is the turn back the clocks on Sunday
This means lighter mornings for a bit !!!!!

Sunday is suppose to be the last day of temps in the 80's I am so looking forward to some cooler leave the windows open weather
I think that maybe one of the "why I am in a funk" causes I am just so over this heat.

As much as I don't want to I have to go outside this morning and do some gardening stuff

However later today I am meeting 2 of my CD buddies which is always fun !!!

Are you all ready for the weekend ?

Cool, Karla...who're you meeting, if you don't mind sharing??

I think everybody's already gone into weekend mode. Where'd everybody go???

I think what I did this a.m. actually qualifies as exercise. We now have gardens all around the house, except for the south side and I had to water them. We have 2 hoses, on opposite sides of the house, so I would put one next to a plant, do a little weeding, then go to the other side, move the hose to another plant, weed there, go back to side A, repeat. I must have walked around the house 20-25 times at least, so that must have been a ton of steps. My back is a bit sore, but I'll survive.

My mom had her shoulder surgery yesterday and she sounds like she's doing much better today. I spoke with her last night and she sounded so stoned! This morning, she sounded like a real person again. I think I liked her better last night!

Anyway...gotta run. Catch y'all later.

Well, I had big plans for today, then my neighbor called to 'give me a key' in case the AT&T guy showed up to get her on line-as you may know she's been using my computer. He was supposed to be there between 4 and 8, he showed up at 2 just as she was leaving. And he just left about 5 minutes ago. So, there went my afternoon. Sorry guys, no workout today. Have a happy Friday everyone.

You may be excused Fuzzy!!!
lol, Karla I am soooo ready for the weekend! Our phones went down before lunch today and never went back up until about 3ish. Makes for a very boring day:~) But I'm not complaining. Well Karla I am glad you like conferences because I do not! Oh well some of the practice classes at least look interesting and there are a few housing classes I would like to attend, just to know about it.
lol, Patti ya like Mom stoned! I laughed when I read that. I had to go to the ER once in MI for chest pains, it was actually my blood pressure but at the time I thought I was having a heart attack and my coloring was off so anyway the boss ran me there. After they realized I was stable (except my blood pressure) they gave me some sort of powerful cocktail (they call it that). Anyway I was swinging the nurse call button around and using it as a microphone to sing "old blue eyes" songs. My kids were looking at me like "geez how did we get so lucky". That stuff gets ya floating way above the bed:~).
Well that's it for tonight, off to feed the apartment kitties.

hey all
pattie I met with mawipafl & riveree
we always have such a good time after we ate we sat outside and chatted for over 4 hours catching up
I have found that it is easier to weed when the ground is wet you know to save your back they have this really cool kneeler that is padded there is also this thing on wheels that you sit on and roll down the beds it is higher than one of the mechanic roll under the car thingys

I am glad to hear "mom" is doing well after her surgery
Ya know the Dr's should give the family members the same pain meds so everyone is on the same playing field

Fuzzy has anyone told you what a great person you are !!! if I was over and the cable guy showed up as she was leaving I would of said "hey great timing now you can be here" and holler see ya later as I high tailed it across to my house don't the cable guys call as they are on their way I know I know not helping karla

lol sandy I had to chuckle while reading your hospital performance why have I never been given such fun drugs !!!
I try to make hospital visits fun for the person I am visiting ( well as long as they are not seriously sick) once I walked into a friends room and said "lets redecorate" and started moving the furniture on the empty side of the room around
did you know the long cord of the call button thingy can be used to "blouse" the bottom of the curtain that separates the 2 beds gives it a softer look

For some reason I feel wiped out almost run down with some chills I hope I am not getting something I am trying to remember is any of the kids at school were runny
not having kids I haven't built up an immunity like folks around kids all the time do
I am probably going to head off the bed early tonight
Big day tomorrow lots of candy to play with !!!
