Good Morning everyone

rofl that should mess with all the "grammer police" out there

Got up at 4am, still trying to figure that one out, so I am sleepy and maybe a tad whiney
I know everyone is thinking "not you Karla your such a bubbly ray of sunshine"

OK maybe we should add silly to the above list.

Yeah I will walk don't want to disapoint the dogs. Lola loves her walk and the big dogs like getting their treats from Lou when we get back from walking.

The rain we got over the last few days made the grass grow(imagine that) so mowing is on today's "to do list". lol extra credit exercise !!

I was very excited last night I checked the seeds I planted in the peat pots on Sunday and the cosmos have sprouted. I took the lid off of the container so they can "harden off". Before I put them in the ground.

I will start some more in a couple weeks so that I will have a nice cycle of flowers.

Any exciting plans for the weekend?

karla

Dodged the raindrops again today. I think they're waiting for my usual walk this afternoon to nail me and my hounds!

Didn't feel as "stoned" this morning, which is a good thing. Yesterday was just plain weird

Have a toy run this weekend on the bike. It's for a children's cancer hospital. Seeing all those beautiful faces light up is worth a million and more!

Have a great Friday everyone and an even better weekend

Sure wish we had raindrops. It might make the smoke go away. 200+ brush fires burning in FL right now.

30 minute dog walk complete. Now, off to move office furniture.....

We have not started moving our stuff, we have not found a place to put it. The stuff I am moving today is at work. My boss is getting a new desk, and I am getting his old one. Dragging big furniture around the country club, doesn't that sound like fun??

Morning y'all! I worked out last night - thought I'd die since it was about 80 degrees in the gym!!!

This weekend is laundry and packing - my daughter leaves next Saturday for the summer at a camp for chronically ill children - I'm already missing her!!

evey you need those "moving men" slides to put under the desk.
if you are reading this at work and can't get them use pieces of cardboard.
rofl didn't they tell you physical labor would be part of your new job

ellemaew how wonderful that your daughter has such a oppurtinity.
and bless you for being supportive in letting her go knowing how much you will miss her.
I have been inivolved in fundrasing projects for programs for chronically ill kids. The joy the children recieve is so heart warming
(hugs) to both of you

You can also use towels to help move heavy furniture!

Just got back from my afternoon walk. No rain ... but the wind! I almost got blown off the face of the planet. I look like the wild woman of the moors. That, or I jumped back a few years to the eighties and a whole lotta hairspray and backcombing. YIKES

rofl I can relate I had some pretty big hair going on in the 80's in NJ.
We would go through bottles of Sebastian "sprtiz" they was one salon that you could bring your empty bottle in and pay a couple bucks to have it refilled.
That stuff also helped "set" your make-up it you were headed out for a night of dancing.

ok I have put off mowing the lawn long enough I better get out there

Hi everyone, I will be heading out to paint the house, extra credits due there. Then later in the evening after supper I will be taking my walk around the trail.
I am hoping this weekend, that I can get things more planned out for our trip at the end of the month. I also am the one that needs to do laundry. Today I quit smoking so I need to keep really busy. Have a good weekend everyone.
