Okay...lower body weight workout and tummy workout complete. I also had a healthy breakfast, and now I am going to work on that damned thesis of mine.

Positive thoughts to everyone. I'll help with stars today Karla--I was able to give someout yesterday.

Have a great day!

Default Gold stars

Hey Karla,

I was able to give everyone above my entry *gold stars* except you and Arguy1973 (I think I may have given some to him yesterday...).

BoooHooo!!! No boat ride today. Too many logs and debris in the lake from all the ran we had for the last 2-3 weeks. It would of been a perfect day for a boat ride but we can't chance breaking our propeller again. Darn it.

I need a life.

Did the 1/2 mile today. Got an MRI tonight so at least I'll get a nap before going home. Anyone ever have one? What should I expect? Still sugar free. I'm actually getting more tolerant to be around again.

hoos
I hadd one a couple weeks ago
It will all depend on if it is a open or closed MRI and what part of the body they are doing.
I was told if it is a closed ask for a towel to put over your eyes before going in if you don't like closed in places.
Mine was open but because it was my shoulder I had the machine thingy over my head. My husband had the same machine for one on his knee , he said he fell asleep.

the most important thing is to not move. that was hardest for me
Wouldn't you know the minute it started I got an itch.
It takes about 5 mins per scan and each scan had a different noise.

the best part was filling out the pre MRI paperwork and reading the list of impants they want you to check if you have.
OMG I never knew there were so many things you could have implanted in your body some just had me laughing out loud . they you get the picture where you can circle the ares you have these implants maybe it is just my weird sense of humor but that got me laughing.

leavingcali thanks for doing the stars

ok I am going to go out in the screen room and watch the rain
while hubby is building the pergolia it has become a " no dog zone" he doesnt want his tools messed with.
So I am going to take advantage of all the dogs sleeping to get some me time

karla

Howdy all - Just checking in - i've been AWOL for a couple of days - real estate is picking up (THANK GOODNESS!!!). Now, I have to get a ready to go to NM tomorrow night too. Today I only did 20 minutes on the treadmill, just one mile. I need to head out to the office (with wild and crazy hair due to the humidity).
