Good "Late" Morning to all!!!

It was so hard for me to get out of bed this morning. I was on CD till about 3 am .... Im going to have to start cutting down ...... well maybe NOT!!

As for excercise .... I brought my coffe mug to my lips very slowly. No honestly I went for my walk with Casper about 45 minutes. We have overcast skies here today and its very humid. At 2 pm I will be picking up my my nephew and along with my step son wil be going to my moms pool. I hope it doesn't rain the kids are looking forward to it.

Now I have some bad news...... I have gained 2 lbs. I think its because of my lack of other excercises. Im pretty limited because of my hand and Im not wearing the splint the hand specialist sent me because it just makes it worse.

Hoosier- Im still waiting for a call back for my second hand/wrist MRI, I hate those my specialist sent me valuim to take right before because I am super clausterphobic. Let us know as soon as you get the results. DId Karla get her bag of starts back yet???

NMS- glad you have a relationship with the Big Guy upstairs because we need it with all these health issues. Hows the sale going???

Roma- I know what you mean about the humidity, its terriable here to, you could go outside and sut the air with a knife. I hate what it does to my hair too!!

Dreameyes- what would I do without your singing?? I cant even imagine, but I love to see what song it will be everyday!!

rachx90- my favorite salads are definately homemade. My brother inlaw told me that when I go pick up the kids he has crab salad for me .... yum!!

Cinderbyn- I had my gall bladder removed at the ripe age of 22, I remember it always felt like something was poking into my right rib .... sharp pain and the acid reflux was terriable. Good luck!!!

Jersey2NM- I know what you mean about the push ups ... I cant even do womens push ups at this point.

Sweden- you took me back to my youth. I remember when I was younger and living in Chicago you always knew when summer started. The girls would walk around with the daisy dukes and the boys would be with half their bodies out of the car whisteling.

Karla- How is the queen of the starts doing this morning?? Do you have your powers back???

Hello, all. Sweden you ought to take a water bottle with you on your walk, it's important to stay hydrated, you know!! [sorry, the 'mom' in me sneaks out from time to time] Anyway, did mine, and there appears to me a bunch of young men in roofing clothes across the street from me-HA!! I am SO bad!!! Beats watching soaps!! Oh, and 95 degrees doesn't sound nearly as hot when you say it in degrees Celsius!
You know something I realized last night-we/us [uh-oh??] charter members have been doing this exercise thread for 5 months now! How DARE "they" take away our star power???

sweden take a bottle half full of water stick in in the freezer overnight fill with water before you head out for your walk . you will have nice cool water . Don't put it in your shorts pocket though because it will pull them down and then you will really entertain the tourists

Lots going on today - I did another 1/2 mile in 10 minutes, total for today is 1.5 miles in 30 minutes. I need to get ready to go to the airport so I'm running around like a crazy woman. I'll be out of town until Sunday. But while I was working out, I thought about doing a new type of exercise routine when return. Pretty often I spend far too many hours either on the computer or on the phone. I can easily spend 6 - 8 hours in my basement (that's where my computer and treadmill are set up). So, what do you think of a routine of walking or exercising every 15 minutes each hour? Any suggestions?

Well, shoot-it appears I was off on my length of time for this thread. After scanning through many many of my drivelous posts, I found the beginning to have been at the end of February-which is still over 3 months, nothing to sneeze at! I was thinking Jan. because that is when I started back exercising after giving myself a break while I was quitting smoking. Sorry.

Now that I'm up to 40 crunches I'm doing my best to increase the workout by making it more intense. Especially the weights part. =)

OK.

Pixie - sale is progressing. Tomorrow morning, I won't be hitting the gym because the appraiser and the house inspector are coming over first thing to go thru the house. Sorry, but I have to ask all my CD friends to cross everything again. With luck, it won't be for long.

karla - I'd love to send you some of that cool weather. I'm sitting here in my bulky, Irish fisherman's knit sweater, refusing to turn on the heat!!! LOL. The high today never hit 60! :-(

Good day, everyone. Sweden, listen to Karla...she knows what she's talking about with putting that water in your pocket! LOL
