I'm not sure who will make it to the food journal today, but I wanted to send my good wishes to every one of you and hope your day is a good one with family and friends. I'm on my way to work, and though a bit down about not being able to be with my family today, I'm determined to be cooking Thanksgiving Day dinner in our new home this time next year in NC! http://i233.photobucket.com/albums/ee109/jeannie216/ThanksgivingDinner.gif (broken link). That I am thankful for. My poor husband had his surgery last Wednesday on his torn up knee and really isn't doing all that well. Very little activity and now last night he developed a temp. of over 100.0. My 4 kids will be going to my in-laws for dinner while he stays behind. Going to be all by his lonesome today. Next year will be better for us, I'm sure. Although we have a lot going on in the household, I still am very blessed. okay, so the hospital supplied a free meal to all employees, so let me complain to you so I don't look ungrateful to anyone here....
looked like a frozen Banquet reheat sliced turkey breast (no thanks)
frozen veggies (skipped it)
some type of stuffing look a like (I'll pass)
sweet potatoes (those were pretty good)
dessert (skipped over it)
Happy Thanksgiving jco! I really have no business complaining. Between the food at work, my MIL sent a care package home for my husband and I, so we had more than enough. Hope your day went well. Jeannie
