Jeannie, I started on the leisure day before I logged on. It is Steeplechase day in Mineral Springs. When I woke up the traffic was backed up to our road and later went past our road. Before the day is done it will usually back up to THE light (our town only has one light) on NC Highway 75. Cars turn around in our road and head the other way when they remember what today is. I am stuck here, because I am afraid to leave. I might not be able to get back home.
I saw the tickets at the grocery store yesterday, but did not buy them because I think my dh needs to rest. I just asked him how many hours he has worked this week. He said either 64 or 68. He couldn't remember exactly. I call him the computer doctor. He just came in from mowing the back yard and said the noise from the loud speakers had already started. I can't hear anything inside. It is really beautiful here today, but I think we expect rain later on.

yes NCN, better to stay home I would think. Although I love this sunny weather we've had all week, we could really use the rain.
Would you believe our air conditioner is going full blast. From heat to cold in one day. That is just normal in this area. We may have to turn the heat on tonight again.
I may have to break down and fix a healthy meal. Dh got brave and is grocery shopping. I went yesterday. We each have our own little shopping trips during the week. Wonder what he will come home with?
grilled chicken on multi grain with ketchup (yep, put it on everything )
vanilla yogurt with flaxseed
came home and downed a couple of bowls of Cheerios and a small one of Grapenuts. Guess I didn't eat enough all day. Going to start todays post.
