Good morning! A little reminder of a special weekend upon us, but we'll talk more about that tomorrow...http://i233.photobucket.com/albums/ee109/jeannie216/Image37-1.png (broken link)... So, what is on your schedule today? I'm working today and praying I may be one of the lucky ones from work to get a wished off day tomorrow. They won't tell me until 5:00 a.m. tomorrow though. Tea with sugar in the raw and soymilk......have a wonderful Saturday! Jeannie

Good morning Jeannie. I was already the first at the exercise thread so why not be the first to answer your thread!

I hope you have a great day today and hopefully a day off tomorrow! Keep my fingers crossed!

I already had a bike tour with DS and my parents. We went to the next bigger "city" to buy some strawberries and two trousers for DS. Since it's so warm he needed something new.
The sun is shining and it's so hot already!

I cooked something special today. Yesterday I sifted several of my cook books and found this nice chicken dish. You have to cut the meat into small cubes and roll them in a mixture of a large spoon flour, a table spoon pepper and a table spoon paprika powder. Then fry it in some butter, add the rest of the flour/spice mixture to the pan and fry something more. Add about 2 cups of luke warm milk and spice with salt. I also added some sour cream and green grapes and along with it went spaghetti. It was really great, very hot but delicious.

Tonight we're invited to dinner. My cousin and her b/f gave me a special birthday gift. They will cook for DH and me tonight. My cousin is a real genius with food so I'm really looking forward to it, moreover b/c it's going to be a three courses menue.

I also planned to go to the hairdresser today. Hopefully I make it in the short time. It's only about 4 more hours till we have to be at my cousin's place and the hairdresser coming over has about 10 customers today. I'm glad I can be the first...

Hope you all have a great Saturday!
Diana

Diana, that dish sounds delicious! My family would love to have you around, I'm not much of a cook, although I do try. Sounds like a nice pre-Mother's Day for you today. Enjoy your home cooked meal.

oatmeal with sliced banana

water with lemons

Jeannie, doesn't miguel's mom know how to eat.

My inspiration story for the day:

When I went to my daughter's graduation, the lady in front of me looked like someone I had seen before, but I just couldn't place her. When we left the pinning, my son-in-law and granddaughter kept talking about a friend of my daughters. I asked how she was and mentioned that I would like to see her. They both started laughing. She was the lady sitting in front of me, but not quite all of her. She had lost 60 pounds on WW. She had gone from a very nice mommy type to a sophisticated, business professional looking lady. She looked great. Her face turned from round to oval. It had always been in there but the fat was hiding it. Not that there is anything wrong with being a mommy, but do any of us want to look like a mommy. Model would be better. Since I am only 5'4" I guess business professional will be my only choice. This lady is short too. She is the one who helped my daughter get out of an abusive marriage and into a paid nursing program. I told her that I felt she was instrumental in helping my daughter get where she had come. She said, "That is why I would not miss this graduation." It was one of those teary eyed times. I was O. K. until they lite the F. Nightinggale candle. I kinda lost it then.

Just the normal breakfast. Fruit, cereal mix, and coffee and milk

We had 2 sick calls at work tonight and I told the supervisor I would work until 11:00 P.M., if they gave me off tomorrow. It worked. Going to be bad tonight and ordered BBQ spare ribs with the girls at work. Yummy!

All that extra work will take it off.

I got two bunches of flowers today. One from dh and one from dd. Got an e-mail from my son. They are living with stress and bliss. Two of the cutest little girls. The new one looks like a babydoll.

Hope I haven't told you this already. The two year old keeps wanting to give the baby things like her non-tip cup, play dough, coloring book, her special blanket. She really wants to play with the baby. She gets really upset if it cries. My daughter was almost 6 when our son was born. I feel for my dil with two so small. I think she wanted them to be close like she and her sister are.
