Good morning, Jeannie. I slept in as usual, but unusual lately. Dh is off to Salisbury to do some overtime again. Hope he soon gets these stores taken care of so we can play again. I want to see those outdoor dramas this summer. Most of them are open on Friday night, so we would have a day to go, a day to see, and another day to get back home. Didn't I pick a good year to do this with these gas prices?

Coffee and milk
banana
peanut granola bar

Karla, I was eating an orange candy slice one day and realized that I could have the real thing that probably would taste better. That is when I started having three fruits per day. So now I usually have one cup of cooked vegetable, 3 cups of raw vegetables and 3 fruits.

Hey there!

It's TV evening but the ads are just tapping on my nerves so I better check in here before going to bed.

Went to work by bike today. Nearly 6 miles. It was great and I was beat when I arrived at the office, looking like a tomatoe. But it was refreshing.

small glass of coke before my bike tour
a piece of fluffy pastry after my bike tour
spaghetti/tomatoe sauce/chickenbreast with mozzarella for lunch (still have some leftovers for tomorrow's lunch....)
shared a pizza with my mom for dinner
a small bowl of cereals and a piece of chocolate.

Today was my indulging day so I need to cut back tomorrow.

Nite!!!

After six miles on a bicycle, you should be able to eat anything you want to. I have thought about getting the bicycles out of the garage and riding to the aquatic center which is more like ten to twelve miles away. With these gas prices, we may all be bicycling soon. I would really like a three wheeler or a golf cart to ride on, but we live near a main road that has too many trucks to compete with. Maybe I could find a cross country route.

Lunch was 3 small sausages, 2 eggs, scrambled, 2 slices toast--one with apple butter.

Dh came home about that time and I gave him the rest of the sausages and made sauerkraut and hushpuppies to go with it. He ate it. I had some hushpuppies and sauerkraut with another cup of coffee too. I just had a pepsi and am stuffed, so I will probably quit for the day.

Diana, bike riding has to be the best exercise! Since my husband's reconstructive knee surgery, that is what his DR. recommends for getting back in shape without hurting himself.
