Good morning! Yesterday was a better day for me and it feels great to be back. Been having a bit of rainy weather here the last few days but I hear a beautiful sunny weekend is ahead. So, what are everyone's plans for today? Coffee with sugar in the raw and soymilk......happy Thursday everyone! Jeannie
Yes, September is our monsoon season here in North Carolina. We really need it, because we are still in groundwater drought. My son has a well, so we like this rain. Jeannie, I could declare you brought the rain and that would be a good thing.
Rath, how is it in Texas?
Mr. VA and I are both back on the points. I have been messing around long enough.
Coffee and milk
banana
yogurt
We have a big project planned for today. We hope to find the floor and the bed in the computer room. I have been putting this one off for a while. We will be lucky to finish today. After that will be the weight room at the aquatic center.
Jeannie, you are having way too much fun this morning.
Good morning, Lacey, Rath, MM, Izzy, Jeannie, BB, Kellycon and anyone else I missed!
Things are okay right now. I live in San Angelo, which is west-central (if you look on a map, we're northwest of San Antonio, west-southwest of Abilene). When the storm hits the coast, it will break up long before it hits us, it's the rain we're a little worried about. In the desert ground we're in, we only get about 12" of rain a year. We've already had 16", and the ground's not used to it. The plants love it, of course, but if we get large amounts, it can't be absorbed into the lower areas, and will run off and start flooding. Luckily, I live in an area and high enough on the street that the area would have to flood significantly for me to be worried about my house. My concern is getting around to the stores etc. But, it's Texas, and of course I have a truck that sits up.. so I can get more to more places than those with cars.
6:45 - Two cinnamon PopTarts, vitamin, 1/2 Coke
Lunch is leftover perrogies and kielbasa.
