Good morning! Here we are again at the last day before the beginning of a brand new week. Hopefully we'll see the sun today, it came out very little yesterday. I did make it to the gym yesterday morning and did a fabulous 45 minute treadmill interval work-out. This is the first time I've done this and it really was good, although my legs will tell you different. So what are everyone's plans for today? Coffee with sugar in the raw and soymilk......have a blessed Sunday everyone! Jeannie

Last day of Summer! I knew there was something special about this day.
No we didn't go anywhere today. We don't know if our son went or not. We can't get in touch with him. I figure he is at church. Mr. VA said he plans to park on the sofa and watch TV all day. It's about time he did that.
Jeannie, you will love Fall here. Our Fall is probably like Lacey's Summer. We will probably be able to get out and do anything we want to until Christmas, then we hibernate for two months and drink hot chocolate. You will probably go to Boone or WV and go skiing. We go to Myrtle Beach and walk on the beach. I don't like Myrtle Beach in the Summer, but I love it at Christmas.
Coffee and milk
strawberry yogurt
2 small bananas
Jeannie, the sooner you find a church the sooner you will be included in the area activities. I am trying to figure out the best way to say this. A lot of people keep their children safe by choosing friends when they go to church. So your best friends will probably be your church friends. I am sure you will make friends no matter where you go in life. Just thought I would mention that though.

Speaking of Christmas. These people usually have a special Christmas showing.

Congratulations, Izzy. You should be a good one. Keep up with me, that is easy. You are the hard one to keep up with. You actually do something. I have become a consumer.

It's a great organization that helps children!

It will be fun if you could come to Los Angeles, I would really love that!

That is highly possible. We have a Wyndham timeshare and they have locations there that we can go to with our points. It probably will not be next year though. I have already used up my points for this year and borrowed from next year.

NCN sorry Mr VA isn't up to going to the re-union.

Izzy congrats lady!!! I was in Kiwanis in NJ for years.

Yes our summers are so short-blink and they're over. Today maybe 70. I had so hoped we'd be out of here by fall. Listing up 10/28 and will do FSBO. Any advice accepted gang.

Tonight Italian sausages on the grill topped with peppers/onions/garlic on crusty Italian bread, corn on cob for Mr. L and spinach salad for me.

Breakfast-was YEP yog/fruit.
Lunch cottage cheese/spinach salad.

Judi, I suggest we all come to your home for dinner! I love what you are having. It wouldn't be nice to leave Mr. VA alone though, would it. He is watching the race, I may change my mind about leaving him and go shopping by myself.

I am getting ready to have another cup of coffee. I forgot to take my medications and vitamins. It is not a normal day here. Beautiful outside though.

Izzy, I read your post but saw the town more than the organization. That is a really impressive position in the Monterey Park Kiwanis Club. Kiwanis is a good organization. Go girl!
