Well I got my first warning (I'm scarred for life now) for calling out a Mod. I should have known better and stayed away from that Politics and Other Controversies forum!
In any case, we're not doing anything special tonight, just going over to a friend's house. We all normally sit around chatting or playing board games and leave shortly after the ball drops.

Rath, you only have one warning. I had only been on here a few days when I got a warning for advertising. I was only telling someone what they had asked. I guess we should all go back and read the rules every once in a while. I got another one for misusing the rep. They were right and I did it on purpose. I also got one for reposting only part of a post. Others do it all the time to my posts. I didn't even know it was against the rules. I only posted the part of the others post that I was answering. I thought I was saving space. I do appreciate it that you took it on the chin by trying to bring a little sanity to that forum. I have been warned to not go there either, but if everybody sane shuts up it will be a really sad forum. Some of those people have warped minds.
I hear what you all are saying, and I will admit that some of what I wrote was out of line. But the point I was most angry about was that the Mod deleted my entire post, instead of just the one or two snippets about the other poster. Y'all know I write a lot, so I was very frustrated. No doubt I was in the wrong, but I guess I just thought they would delete the bad stuff because there were some on topic points. Eh. No one to blame but myself.
Anyway.. past is past.

Lacey, hope the house sells soon. It is too cold up there. I had no idea anywhere in the USA besides Alaska had such temperatures. I guess I have just led a protected life living here in our little dream world.
Our church is haveing a special party starting at 9 P. M. but I would feel a little funny going without Mr. VA who is working tonight until 11. It is a lot of fun. Our pastor puts a lot of Bible verses in a box and draws one out for each section of the church. 9-11 is the party and then they go into the sanctuary for the finale. Guess I will just hang out with the TV and clean out a book shelf while I watch TV. I just mopped the kitchen floor. Our company comes Friday, but tomorrow will be the bathrooms. I used to do all this in a day, but I have to spread it out now.
Had a late lunch at 3pm with two of my girlfriends at a Chinese Hong Kong Style Restaurant. so this is it! Not going out tonight.
