Good morning! So nice to be back with all of you. I'm not sure if anyone here was able to see the Barbara Walters special last night but after watching the very emotional interview with Patrick Swayze and his wife, it really made me think about things and how I really need to enjoy life more and worry much less. Life is really short. Okay, I'm done. Coffee with sugar in the raw and soymilk so far. Everyone have a great day! Jeannie

Good morning all.

Jeannie - I didn't see all of the interview... just about 2-3 mins of it. I'm suprised at how much he's changed from my mind's eye. I remember him mostly from Dirty Dancing and Roadhouse. Made me realize how lucky I am now, and that all the aches I get from going to the gym should probably be viewed as the "pleasant" feeling of change.

Dinner last night was taco's... but I just didn't feel right eating that, so I opened a bag of lettuce and put some taco meat on that. Not much better, I know, but every little bit.

Breakfast this morning was the usual: 2 bean/cheese breakfast burritos, vitamins, and Coke. Don't know if I'll ever break the Coke habit, but one a day I think is okay. I figure it's equivalent to a cup of coffee with cream and sugar, and since I don't drink coffee...

And I apologize for not checking back in yesterday afternoon to say "Welcome!" Younglisa. Hope you get as much out of posting here as I sure have. Nothing more embarassing then saying "yeah.. I had ice cream and chips last night!!" (I didn't... just saying! heh)

Good morning Jeannie,NCN,Izzy,Diana,YoungLisa and Steve.

I saw bits and pieces and it was so very sad. What strength he has.

Jeannie-keeping it off is the big challenge. I have done this too many times and am praying I stay strong-especially when I get back to NJ and the temptations of pizza, pork roll,etc-LOL.

This morning normal low fat yog/fruit, coffee.

Steve, my all time favorite movie with him was Ghost. I must have watched that movie a hundred times and I cry even now when I watch it. Judi, I lost close to 20 lbs. last summer for our Disney trip last November and have gained back a good 8 or more lbs of it. I am really going to try and get back there again.

Yeah. Unfortunately, I saw that movie once.. and it was once too much. Great movie for women or those that like that type of romance. But, I'm one of those weirdos who didn't think Forrest Gump was a good movie either.

I would have thought that Demi Moore was enough of a reason to watch it.

Good morning all and Thank you for the welcome. So I guess we start a new thread each day?

Jeanne
- I didn't catch the special but it really does make you thankful for each and every day we have that we are healthy. Enjoy everything and as the saying goes "don't sweat the small stuff".

I did the same thing 1 1/2 years ago. I lost 20 lbs and now I am 10 lbs heavier so it's back to the drawing board.

Rathagos- Good switch last night. Now you can have something else. I love your breakfast well except for the coke, lol. I bet it really fills you up.

Lacey-I saw your post last night. Woo hoo. Big happy dance for you on your weight loss. Did you lose 40lbs. or you are 140? Either way that's awesome.

Diana-Tofu isn't awful it's just really bland. It's usually ok in spicy stir fry's.

I had my 1/2 cup Fiber One, skim milk, peaches and a glass of water. Now I am having my coffee.

I am going for a root canal(OUCH) this afternoon so I am eating a brunch of 1 egg and 1 egg white omelette with gr. peppers, light am. cheese and salsa with ww toast.

Looks like homemade soup tonight.

Have a good day.

YL-I lost 40. The move to Minnesota from NJ put me in such a depression that I handled it with food and really messed myself up. In June I decided enough was enough and took control. My doc wants low and slow and I don't feel deprived just healthier and younger-LOL.

She's attractive, but not high on my list. Now... had Kate Beckinsale been the star... naw... still too mushy of a movie for me!
