I just started this last week... easing myself back into an excercise program.
Got the winter pounds to shed.
I bought this great DVD with in home walking... walked a mile today.
It combines the walk with arobics.
My hubby said he can already notice a difference.
Oh, and water.... drink lots of water...
does make a difference.

Happy Daylight Savings Time!
I'll second that!

On my ride into work this morning, it was only in the 30s...brrr. by the time I got out...a balmy 63F AND thanks to DST I had sunlight to burn.

Time enough for a one hour spin and a 1/2 hour walking my stinky Cattle Dog (and no, she's too big to fit in a bike basket ).

Cattle Dog? I'll have to look that one up, but yes the name implies it would take something more than a basket to tote that canine around. Oh have I got something for that:

I was grinning all the way while pedaling home from work. No lights, no reflective vest, sunglasses, sunscreen (yuk), T shirt flapping in the breeze, parks full of kids playing baseball, and tons of people out enjoying the beautiful evening sunshine. This makes pedaling home all those dark dreary nights from November to February really something to appreciate.
