Good morning! Can you believe we're at the end of April already? Things really need to slow down a bit. I'm looking forward to vacation this year but that will bring us to the end of July. Remember being a kid and time went slow? Coffee with sugar in the raw and soymilk so far......happy hump day! Jeannie
Hi Jeannie-listing's up May 1st and we were going to just take it off the market (been a year). But will probably re-list til July 1st and I suggested she market it to "older" folks as the house is maintenance free, one level living, low utilities, etc. We'll see.
Good morning, Jeannie and Lacey and later Lisa, Diana, Izzy,
Lacey, that is a good suggestion. Maybe you should do a "for sale by owner." The lawyer does most of the paperwork anyway.
Jeannie, you are going to love Hilton Head. We went on a boat ride to Savannah from there and another trip over to Daufuskie Island. There was another couple from around Lake Norman on the trip with us. He said a good way to remember the name of the island was to say a local "the first key" island since it is the first island you run into off Hilton Head. I had fun because I had heard about this island, had seen it on tv and I knew what to expect. My fun part of the trip was looking at the facial expressions of the others on the trip. If you take it, you will know what I mean. That is where Pat Conroy taught school. We didn't buy the crab cakes because we don't like crab cakes and just had chips and a drink. It was really hot and we needed a drink. On the way back we ran into dolphins. The children on the trip loved that.
