Lacey, I found a fruit and vegetable stand today and bought two tomatoes for almost $2. They were good too. I think they must have been grown locally. I live in farm country.
Our apple trees are just full, but they are so small. The rabbits like them, but our kittens like the rabbits. The apples are almost like rabbit bait.
How was the hospital visit? Anybody home yet?
Breakfast was the waffles, banana and coffee and milk.
Lunch was a heaping cup of green beans with 4 hushpuppies crumbled in it with chopped tomato, cucumbers, onions and bread and butter pickles put together like a salad. Coffee and milk to drink. I had an Italian chicken tender cooked, but it just was not needed. I love that green bean salad I put together. The only thing that would have made it better would be cantalope pieces too.
I was going to have the Italian chicken for dinner, but I baked flounder fillets again and had cole slaw with it. One fillet and one cup slaw just like the last time. Coffee and milk.
I just had a peanut bar with coffee and milk and will probably have another coffee and milk.
I will be back to the grindstone tomorrow. I have enjoyed this time of relaxing though.
