Carmac........I too have lost an entire post and had to start over. Only happens when I have a lot to say
hubby is good but went to the neurologist yesterday and his arms and legs are getting weaker. He has parkinsons. I"m making him excercise now. He makes me mad cuz he is plain lazy but he has got to so the progression isn't too bad.

Yeah lacey........we can eat a good bit but have to watch how much and count up the points. As long as it is 18 points for me........I'm okay.
Plus I get 35 extra for the week.

NCN..........I didn't realize there was so many little towns of magnolia either.
The magnolia trees are in full bloom now. Really pretty with their big white flowers.

Lacey, the 35 extra for the week can be added each day to make 23. When we were religious with the plan I would have the regular points for good food and then have something really bad with the extra five--such as 2 mallow cups. I have never saved the extra five. I would rather be a little naughty every day to saving up for one big naughty. Or I can plan three 6 point meals and have 4 one point coffees which is about 2 cups 1% milk and a yogurt before bedtime.

I need to get religious about it again. I have needed to do that for a long time. I do like having a choice and not having to eat the same thing over and over again.

It just seems you all can eat so much and real food-LOL.

My nightly martini is my splurge and boy do I need one today-I am exhausted but packed and ready. Just hit the ATM tomorrow and rest.

Lacey, I actually lose more when I eat more. My problem is eating what I should and wanting to eat as much as they say I should. I would rather eat ice cream that is less food but more calories. Sometimes my body takes forever to digest a salad.

BTW if I eat a green salad with 2 T. Olive garden dressing, that is only two points--for the dressing. The salad is 0.

Hello all.

I'm just dropping in for a quick hello. I had rye bread and honey for breakfast with cantaloupe.

Lunch was oven baked yellow squash. I have no more squash and zucchini. Woo hoo.

Dinner- Up in the air. Not too hungry. Maybe my other half of ribeye from last night.

Dessert- Fruit. I have a lot of fruit.

Have a great weekend everyone.

I have heard one a day is good for you, but you know me, I have never had one. My mother confided to me that my great grandmother had one little nip of white lightning each morning to get her started. That was probably like medicine to her. Yours may be to you.

I had an uncle who's breakfast was a raw egg in beer. He lived to be 100.

We just decided to have turkey and ham with whitewheat bread and of course lettuce and tomato and maybe onion.

For some reason my computer is doing better today. Maybe it likes me again.

Yes, I think the secret is to keep out of doctor's offices. Maybe I am changing to be for this health care program. If we can't get any healthcare we won't have any prescriptions and we can all medicate ourselves and live to be 100 too just for spite! Just like our ancestors! They had very little to do with doctors.
