Hardiboard (sp?) siding or new windows?

Which would you choose? You only have enough $$$ for one of these major projects

1950 sq. ft.--3BR/2BA, which unfortunately faces east/west and also has a pool!

The whole backside of the house, plus "half" walls and some in the front, would need siding.

There are approx. 20 windows...there is some moisture seepage on about half of those.

Any advice?

I would do windows if there is moisture seepage because I think that would be more damaging than bad siding...
if this is house you are considering buying I hope you got it at cheap enough price

no point in replacing siding unless you are also adding better insulation and that probably means that the existing windows won't be fitting frames correctly...so replacing siding would mean also replacing windows
