The metro has a whole has a pretty large Asian population, probably about 5th in the nation. Garland, Richardson, and Plano are come to many Vietnamese, Chinese, and south east Asians. There is a Vietnamese mini mall in Garland, and several Asian supermarkets throughout the area. There's Hong Kong Market in Dallas, and a Buddhist meditation center in Garland. But really you could go just about anywhere in northwest Garland, Plano, or Richardson and met Asians.

What's Scream77 supposed to do? Go to Garland, Plano, or Richardson and just walk to an Asian at a grocery store and say (or should I say scream) "Hey, you're Asian, me too!!! Let's Asian together."

I'm not connected enough to know where the favorite hang outs are, but as others have mentioned Richardson and Plano probably contain the epicenter of the Asian population in DFW. You may want to take a trip to the new 99 Ranch Market in Plano and try networking.

Also, there seems to be many Asians at Choctaw Casino in Durant, OK (1 hour north of Dallas) on the weekends.

If you like going out, just go out where everyone else does. There are plenty of young Asians out and about in Uptown, Lower Greenville and Knox-Henderson. I hang with a pretty diverse set, and they've noticed Steel(in the Centrum building on Oak Lawn) had a high concentration. Especially during happy hour. Also, the strip with Natsumi and Veritas on Henderson. I didn't make those observations, it was actually Asian young women informing me that "this must be the spot to pick up Asian women". Especially Steel(is it still there? Restaurants move fast in Dallas)
