Is there a taxi service in Plano/Mckinney area (not limo)?
All the places that I have called are limo service and I need a ride to the doctor's office.

I'm pretty sure Yellow Cab and Cowboy Cab serve the entire Metroplex. It might take a little longer to get a cab up there, but I'm pretty sure either will dispatch someone to transport you.

Another vote for Yellow Cab.

If you wait to call until you need the ride, you'll probably be waiting quite a while. However, you can book ahead of time online or by phone.

I did this last month for a trip from Plano to the DFW airport. On the day of the trip, the office called to confirm, a text message was sent when the taxi was dispatched, and the driver called when he arrived. FWIW, the taxi was at my house 3 minutes ahead of schedule.

I wouldn't mess with those shady unlicensed limo services. Stick with the regular taxi services. They don't promote serving Plano, but they will give you a ride.
