Can someone recommend the best cable TV network service in Dallas? I'm so confused.
And what's this about getting your cable thru the internet?

We have a choice? There's Time Warner Cable. They have cable TV and cable internet and phone. We do the TV and the internet, but not the phone.

Have you considered getting your programming through satellite? Like using Dish Network or Direct TV? I myself use Dish Network and cannot say enough good things about them.

We have UVerse and I personally do not recommend it. Stick with DirecTV or Dish.

I have just moved to Dallas, and went through the same decisions.....

AT&T u-verse wanted a $450 non-refundable deposit to hook up their TV because I am Canadian and don't have US credit (something to consider for non-US people!).

Time-Warner has the worst reputation ever (read the online reviews) -- I almost went with them, but my gut told me not to! However, they do not require any silly deposits.

In the end I have decided on DirectTV -- they are coming tomorrow to hook up the satellite. They make you sign up for a 2 year plan -- however, if you move to a place that does not have DirectTV before 2 years is up, you will be released from the contract.

Check if your area carries FiOS, I got that and it's amazing how good, reliable and fast it is. Also the TV image quality is the best from Cable and Satellite.

I have Verizon FIOS and I like it much better than when I had Times Warner. FIOS seems to provide a lot more options. I also use it for my Internet access too.

I have Uverse now and am pretty happy with it. I had Time Warner before that and it was awful. Had DirecTV before that, but lost the signal every time the wind blew or more than five drops of rain fell. If you value your television during severe weather, as I do, satellite isn't even a viable option.

We LOVE our Verizon FiOS! The service has never gone out, and the picture and sound are amazingly clear. Internet is also really fast!

Verizon FIOS doesnt seem to cater to my area according to their website. Maybe I should call them.
Thanks for the feedback......still trying to "unconfuse" myself.
