I would like info on which apartments to check out in Mckinney. My hubby and I are looking to move there sometime next year. We will be looking for a 2 bedroom.

There are probably not many apartments there. Just rent a house.

Here a eco-friendly apartment complex that I hear is nice (It is registered to become the first LEED certified apartment community in North Texas). It is at Custer and Virginia.

Why would you live in an apartment? You could buy a house in FRISCO! Everyone and everything is the same! Don't buy one of those old homes built 10 years ago. Those used houses never sell. Move to Frisco! Everything is new!

Frisco!

Steffi there are many apartment complexes in McKinney. There are some really nice ones down the street from us in the Stonebridge area. There are the Villas at Stonebridge and there is a brand new one across from our neighborhood on Custer at Virginia. This particular area is very nice and close to many roads such as 380 and Custer is a major artery taking you down to Allen and Plano. McKinney is a great place to live. Beautiful historic downtown shopping, the Stonebriar Mall is close by, Allen shopping is also close by. McKinney is a town with lots of charm and character. We have lived here for 11 years and love it! There are hiking, walking and biking trails around most neighborhoods.
The Saxon Woods apartments on Eldorado are really nice too. I have friends who have lived there. Very close to everything, you can walk to the grocery, Blockbuster, Walgreens, Restaurants, and there is a little pub down the street to hang out if you like that kind of thing.
This particular apt. complex is close to 75 and 121.
Send me a direct message if you have any questions about any of the neighborhoods in McKinney. I'll be glad to help.
