Looking for something under 500k. Preferably around 300k. I know it may be expensive, however one that is for sale would be an option too, although we really want to build.

Looking for areas as well that these home are located in.

Thanks,
Natalie

There are several in Las Colinas. La Villita is the first that comes to mind.

Natalie,

Have you considered looking at pre-owned homes? One particular one in Fairview that is a foreclosure priced at 600K but has 6000sf on 2 acres built in 2005???

If not,

Urban Innovations is a builder in Dallas that can probably build you a home in your price range. I have seen a beautiful med. home in Kessler Springs that they built and they're asking 579K. Check them out at Urban Innovations :: Homepage

Have you identified a lot to build on yet or are you wanting a builder that provides the lot too? This is important too because some track builders will not build outside their community.

Toll Brothers is another builder that has some very nice med. plans.

Texan#1 is correct, La Villita would also be at the top of my list. It has some med homes built by Darling & Khov but they would be pre-owned. The other neighborhood where Darling is building these plans also in Las Colinas is Riverside Village, a new community. They have a plan that is about 3000sf priced about 450K and smaller ones too.

GREAT type of design for Dallas which is more of traditional style market. Many communities have restrictions on what type of structures. It all depends lender approval amount. Las Colinas has fab..u...lous homes... I love their style.
